TV Guide Magazine: We must talk about your sexcapades on B&B. Eric is already shacking up with Taylor [Hunter Tylo], just three months after the death of Stephanie [Susan Flannery]. And Stephanie and Taylor were BFFs! Too trashy!

McCook: [Laughs] I was trying to keep a little dignity. I didn't want Eric jumping into bed with just any available set of boobs, but he's a horndog and he's been alone for 12 weeks. That's eons in soap time! Hey, he wasn't getting any from Stephanie. He's probably gone five years without sex. Her death freed him up to sniff around the neighborhood. Yeah, people are shocked, but we need this kind of tension and excitement on our show. Any publicity is good publicity, as long as I don't have to look at it. I don't go online because it scares the s--t out of me. I don't want to hear all that negative stuff. I'm just happy to contribute to the show and be working in a storyline that impacts a lot of characters. I don't need the rest of it.

We know John thought it was to soon,at least that,but in MY book it should NEVER have happened

Will read the entire interview later but this excerpt made me laugh and roll my eyes in disbelief. He IS bipolar. One day he gives those interviews where you think he has lost it and then he gives an interiew like this one where he makes a bit more sense...but only a bit. That being said, I think it's very disrespectful of him to say - at every given chance - how happy he is to work despite what the audience think, to work against all odds and play whatever crap there is only to get to do something. He should stop giving interviews...or start attending classes about how to be diplomatic at least.

He doesn't go online bc it "scares the shit out of him" ;D ;D ;Dcan't believe he says this in public- John, where are you manners?! ;D He probably has been here and read the naughty fan fics and that creeped him out ;D ;D ;D ;D

Okay, I've read the rest... I have to correct myself. This interview is just like the other stuff. He sometimes seems like such a fool...not to mention his not so gentleman-like way of expressing himself
