No one ever mentions her anymore,it´s absolutely STUPID.l was stupid enough to expect some sort of mourning,at least from Eric, but Bell wants us all to forget about her and move on.NO WAY www.worldofbb.com/index.php?id=508827

...and HURTFUL. How BB has handled this is another example of how out of touch with his audience he is, and how far removed from his father's talent he is. [and proof that SF knew what she was doing when she left] There are thousands....probably millions of people who took this character into their living rooms for years and grew to really care about her story and the actress who played her. Bill Bell knew it was his audience's connection to the story and the cast that made his shows successful - he would have honored our grief and allowed us to mourn with the other characters on the show. It's sooo dysfunctional and sooo unrealistic to think that nothing stopped and no beats were missed - no one missed work, no one gathered together to support one another, no one had guilt at not being with her, no one had anger at who was with her, no one felt the need to be close to her and go through her closest or her drawers, or her photo albums, no one called Sally, no one explained anything to the younger grandchildren, no one cried. In what family does losing your mother, grandmother, wife, sister, best friend look like this? And she wasn't just all of that - she really was the center, the hub of this family - there would be adjusting and transition and tears....lots and lots of tears. I've never had the "death" of a character impact me the way this one has. There really is an emptiness. I knew it was going to be an adjustment, but I didn't realize how much I'd really counted on something new from her to entertain me, touch me, or move me. I am so grateful for all the old clips - but it's still tough to take the idea that there will never be anything new. We don't get to see SF/SF and JM/EF grow old together - I really wanted to witness that. I believe we fans could have adjusted better to SF leaving the B&B canvas if we'd been given a realistic period of mourning.

l so agree with you,all this is missing.Families that handle someone dying, like this needs professional help. l expected Eric to come home to an empty house, walk around, look at pics of the two of them, smell some clothes of hers or her fav perfume, and CRY for god´s sake. The smart Stephanie Forrester we have loved all these years, would never have told her family,no funeral,no memorial. What crap and nonsens is that.Stephanie would have allowed them to mourn, cry and miss her,coz that´s what you need to go thru in order to try to move on. Never happened to me either.l have never loved one character or couple the way l have Eric and Stephanie,Susan and John.See them grow old together, how sweet Bell has lost his greates star,so he wants us to forget all about her and move on like she never existed. So disrespectful to Stephanie,Susan and us,who has kept this show on the air for 25+ years. l think so too, seeing Eric and the family mourn in a way we all can relate to,would have helped.Let Eric mourn like a normal man and don´t hook him up with anyone new. Great post, thank you for expressing exactly how l feel

I also react
beacuse I think that how they wrote this SL is not realistic , I meen everyone moves on like nothing really happend... In reality people are devestated and really broken . Nothing of this have we seen much of now. It seems wery unreal.
If series are suppose to be at least a bit realistic they have to write more trouthful and real storylines. You have right ,it is like Stephanie never existed and thats not good.
Since that charcter dissapperad from B&B B&B is no longer a serie that I like to watch so much ,she was the heart and soul to all this. And without her there is just boring
thats my opinion.
