While John McCook has waited for a while to have this kind of storyline, it is bittersweet. As he’s losing his 26-year-long leading lady, Ms. Flannery, who is retiring from the soap acting world, it’s given John McCook a great chance to shine, and to prove he’s still got the acting chops to pull off such a poignant and doomed love story, that is being weaved by three-time Emmy Award winning writer and executive producer Brad Bell. The story of Stephanie’s death is eclipsing on Monday, but it’s far from over. You won’t believe where all this drama takes our favorite characters, and not just the Forresters either.
