October 25, 2012… Los Angeles, CA… Irish all-female musical ensemble, Celtic Woman, will appear on the multi-Emmy® Award winning The Bold and the Beautiful, Executive Producer and Head Writer Bradley P. Bell announced today. Having been given a diagnosis that her lung cancer has returned and is incurable, “Stephanie Forrester” (portrayed by Emmy®-award winning and original cast member, Susan Flannery) decides to throw a party in celebration of her life. “I can’t think of a more beautiful way to pay tribute to the character of ‘Stephanie Forrester’ and her Irish heritage than to bring in Celtic Woman to serenade her.”, said Bell. “Their distinctive voice and angelic melodies were the perfect accompaniment to this powerful and emotional storyline.”



Celtic Woman will appear as themselves on Monday, November 12, and Tuesday, November 13, 2012 when they perform their hit single, “The Parting Glass”, a song dedicated to “Stephanie” by her loving husband, “Eric Forrester” (portrayed by multi- Emmy® nominee and original cast member, John McCook), and the classic Irish melody, “Danny Boy”.






So THAT is the big surprise Eric has for her? WTH...? And since when is Steph Irish (and who cares)?

At least we know have a date for the party! Already around Nov 12th/13th

Susan is irish,well at least her parents and maybe bell just like me sometimes mixes up Susan and Stephanie ;D

B&B used the song "The water is wide" by Celtic Woman before (Ann Douglas death). It was so beautiful!

Susan is of full Irish blood, good tribute to that. So why not have Stephanie's parents or at least one parent from Ireland? Settling in Chicago. Like Susan's parents settled in NY/NJ.

I love Celtic Woman. And although I'm sad Eric won't be singing (so it seems) to Stephanie, I can understand why. That would be hard for him to do.

As for the Irish thing...Stephanie's maiden name is a Scottish surname, but Anne could have been Irish. Or her father's family could have been like my ancestors...Irish that fled into Scotland to keep from being murdered and changed their last names lol Eh, who cares. It's a tribute to Susan...it works.

Seems to me it's a present from Brad Bell to Susan and Stephanie.
I'd sure be more thrilled if someone had a good famous performer sing to me than get a necklace for instance. It's quite priceless with a music performance.

dying ;D But hey...I could consider a tiara on my death bed ;D ;D If I had to go...why not go in style?!

Diamonds or other "simple" material gifts were not what I expected or wanted. But to hire some group singing 2 songs is not what I hoped for either when they say Eric has a big surprise... I hoped for a really personal, creative, touching act of love - after all he is supposed to be a creative genius

Yes, probably Bell meant Susan, not Steph.
