Information on Adrienne Frantz
Adrienne Frantz portrays “Amber Moore”, a feisty vixen that strives to great lengths to improve her lot in life, on THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL (B&B). Frantz recently returned to THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL after a four-year run on B&B’s sister daytime drama, The Young and the Restless, where she portrayed the same character, “Amber Moore,” from 2006 to 2010.
During Frantz’s stint on THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL, her performance as “Amber” garnered her a Daytime Emmy® Award as “Outstanding Younger Actress” in 2001, as well as nominations in the same category in 2000 and 2003. In addition, she was nominated in 2000 and 2001 for “Outstanding Younger Lead Actress” for the Soap Opera Digest Awards. She also won “Best Performance by a Young Performer in a Daytime Serial” at the 20th Annual Youth in Film Awards, an Australian “Boomerang” Award in 2002 as “Most Popular Couple” along with her then co-star Sean Kanan (“Deacon Sharpe”) as well as the “Best Female Vocalist” award at the 1997 International Music Awards.
Frantz’s other TV credits include a long term role as “Tiffany Thorne” on Sunset Beach, and guest-star roles on That 70’s Show and the hit HBO series Six Feet Under. Her film credits include Jimmy Zip, Hack!, The Audition, Angst, Ed Gein: The Butcher of Plainfield, Donna on Demand and Gus Van Sant’s Speedway Junky. Additionally, she provided her voice on the animated series Rugrats and The Wild Thornberrys.
An accomplished vocal performer and songwriter, Frantz released an album entitled “Anomaly”, which was released in 2007 and kicked off an international tour.
Frantz, who is a big believer in giving back, has worked extensively with various charities including, Save the Horses, The Humane Society's Genesis Awards, Actors & Others for Animals, Tippi Hedren's Shambala Preserve and The Rescue Cat Association. She is also a long-time supporter of PANCAN, the Pancreatic Cancer Society, the Diabetes Association of America, as well as several organizations that assist abused women and children, such as The Good Shepherd Shelters.
Frantz lives with her husband, Scott Bailey, in the Los Angeles area, and in addition to acting and singing, enjoys writing poetry, composing music, attending concerts, skiing, and relaxing with her three rescued cats and two chocolate Labrador Retrievers, Lucy and Ethel, and a Cocker-Spaniel puppy, Ricky.
