Brooke tells Ridge she’s leaving town, Steffy and Owen have a heart to heart and Jackie is determined to get Owen back.
Steffy passes by Owen’s beach house and tells him she’s going surfing and asks if he is as well. He passes and she asks why he’s there. Owen tells her he moved out of Jackie’s loft because of what happened with Whip. They discuss that for a bit and then the conversation turns to Steffy and Rick. She tells him they have taken time to cool off for the summer and Owen reminds her the summer is over. Steffy says, “The truth is, so are we.” She admits they were never going to work out because of their families. She laughs and says she shouldn’t be giving him advice about his love life unless it’s to use her family as what not to do. Owen wonders if she wants her parents together and she says she just wants them to be happy and however that happens she’ll be cool with it.
Nick berates his mother for her parasailing incident and for taking advice from Pam. Jackie admits it was over the top, but Owen was charmed. However, he’s not ready to come back to her. Nick suggests she give Owen the time he requested and Jackie says if Owen can’t forgive her she doesn’t know what she’ll do. Nick says maybe both she and Owen are better off if he doesn’t forgive her because they might not be right for each other. Jackie defends her relationship by saying they were happy and they will be again. She vows to get through to Owen and leaves.
In his office, Ridge tells Brooke he knows he has to make a decision, but he has to be sure and needs more time. She says she is going to Paris with her parents and taking the kids with her. Ridge tries to talk her out of it, but Brooke tells him it’s too painful to stay there because if he really wanted to be with her, it wouldn’t be that hard to decide. Besides, she wants to be with her mother since she’s getting worse. Brooke wants to enroll the kids in school over there and says he can see them whenever he comes to Forrester International. Ridge’s mind reels wondering how long she plans to be in Paris. Brooke tells him she needs to quit spinning her wheels, get away from the heartache and move forward. She tells him things would be different if he were to come home or if he gave her a sign or symbol that would prove she is the woman he wants to be with, but he can’t give her that. He asks about the Royalty campaign and Brooke explains her sisters will be visiting their mother, so they can do the photo shoots in Paris. They tell each other they love each other and Ridge says his feelings for her haven’t changed. Brooke points out he goes home to Taylor and their kids every night and she can’t live with that any longer. She kisses him goodbye and leaves to finish packing.
After Brooke leaves, Ridge says he can’t let this happen and runs out the door yelling, “Logan!”
Owen tells Steffy he wants the feeling of knowing he’s with the right person again and Jackie is it for him, but he might not be it for her. He wants what they had and wants to know they can get past this whole thing. Jackie comes to the beach house and through the glass door, sees Steffy consoling Owen. Owen tells Steffy he needs Jackie and his life won’t be the same without her, but he’s not ready to tell her that yet.

Wednesday, September 02
Whip appeals to Owen, Thorne spurs Ridge to action and Jackie makes a decision.
Ridge calls Brooke who is at home packing. He tells her not to go, but she says actions speak louder than words. She tells him Katie is flying with her to Paris and Hope and RJ will stay with Thorne until she gets settled. She says if he figures out he wants her, he has to prove it to her. It’s killing her to leave him, but she’s made her decision.
Whip comes to see Owen and tells him he has no right to be angry with Jackie. Owen accuses Whip of taking advantage of Jackie, but Whip defends himself and says nothing happened between them. He points out Jackie was honest with him and thinks Owen should get over it or else he will regret losing her.
Steffy drops by to see Jackie at the office. She tells her about talking to Owen at the beach and tells her how crazy Owen is about her. She urges her to do whatever it takes to get him back, but Jackie says it’s complicated. Jackie thinks Owen needs someone like her in his life who has a fresh perspective and not as much baggage as she does. Jackie wants Owen to experience everything life has to offer and she won’t hold him back.
Donna and Katie tell Brooke she doesn’t have to move to Paris, but Brooke can’t keep living in limbo. She needs to move on with her life and forget about Ridge. Donna gets upset saying goodbye to Brooke, who says after Ridge left it hasn’t felt like home there.
Thorne comes to see Ridge and can’t believe Brooke is moving to Paris. He tells his brother he would be a fool to let her go, but Ridge doesn’t know what to do. RJ and Ally run in the office and RJ tells his dad he doesn’t want to move to Paris and wants them all to be together. The kids run out of the office and Thorne tells his brother to find Brooke and put his family back together. Ridge doesn’t know how to do that because Brooke is done with him. Thorne tells Ridge for his and his kids’ sake, he needs to give Brooke another chance. Ridge suddenly gets an idea of how to win Brooke over and starts to tell Thorne what he needs him to do.
Nick visits Jackie in her office to find out what happened with Owen. She tells him she found him with Steffy and they looked beautiful together. Jackie never knew true love until she found it with Owen, but Nick says love isn’t always enough to keep people together or always right. Jackie just wants what’s best for Owen and maybe she’s not it. She tells Nick how right Steffy and Owen looked together and Nick wonders if she’d like him to date her. She responds maybe not her, but someone like her who is young enough to do active things with him and have kids. She says she’ll let him go because she’s hurt him and now she can put things right. Nick says it won't work because he still loves her. She still loves him too and that’s why she will end it.
On the Forrester jet with Katie (which they didn’t need to sell after the fashion challenge), Brooke bemoans the fact that Ridge didn’t come back to her after she interrupted his wedding. She tells Katie she needs a new locale and mind set to start her life without Ridge.
Jackie goes to the beach house and before she can tell Owen they’re over, he kisses her. He tells her he loves her, he can’t live without her and he wants her back.
Ridge goes to the beach and says, “I can’t lose you Logan. This has to work. It has to.”

Thursday, September 03
Owen won’t let Jackie end things, while Ridge gives Brooke the sign she was looking for.
Still waiting on the runway, Katie brings Brooke a glass of water and tells her she doesn’t have to leave. Brooke has already decided that being in Paris is the right thing to do. Katie doesn’t think it will change the fact that she still loves Ridge and wonders what it will solve. Brooke realizes things aren't going well for her and Ridge in L.A., but wishes he would give her a sign that they will work things out.
Nick and Bridget make out in his office, but she senses that he’s worried about Jackie. She believes Owen and Jackie will get back together, but Nick tells his surprised wife Jackie is ending her marriage right now. Bridget wonders why Jackie is doing this and hopes Owen won’t let her go through with it. She hugs Nick and says when love like that comes along you have to hold on to it and never let it go.
Owen tells Jackie he loves her and that has never changed. He wants to work through their issues and come home to start over. Jackie is sorry, but tells him she wants to end their marriage. Owen protests, but Jackie tells him he can have children and a family with a younger woman and holding on to him would be selfish of her. Jackie starts to take off her ring, but Owen stops her. Everything he wants and needs is right in front of him and his love for her will last a lifetime. Jackie stands her ground, but Owen says there is nothing she can say to convince him he is meant to be with anyone but her. Jackie reflects on their love and says she doesn’t want to be the woman she was before she met him because he made her life electric. She doesn't want to think about spending one day without him and Owen urges her not to do it then. Jackie has a change of heart and tells him she doesn’t want to live without him, because if he’s gone, she doesn’t want to breathe. She says she loves him and can’t live without him and they passionately kiss. Owen tells her not to let anyone or anything come between them again. What they have is unconventional, but they get it and that’s the most important thing.
After Thorne tells Ridge over the phone that he doesn't think his idea will work, Ridge instructs people on the beach to pick up the pace.
Stephanie meets Thorne at Il Giardino and wants to celebrate that Brooke is leaving for Paris. Thorne says her celebration might be a little premature, but he then gets a text letting him know Brooke’s plane is in the air and he calls Ridge.
Katie notes they are going over the ocean at Point Doom and urgently tells Brooke to look out her window. Brooke leans over to see a heart carved out in the sand. Katie says Ridge gave her the sign she was looking for and they should turn the plane around.
Ridge looks up at the sky, but doesn’t see the plane. After looking down the beach and not seeing Brooke, he says, “I lost her.”
Stephanie is happy to learn the plane has taken off and thinks Brooke is finally out of Ridge’s life.
Still standing on the beach, Ridge sees Brooke get out of a black SUV. They run to each other and kiss. He tells her she needed a symbol of his love and she’s touched it was their heart carved out in the sand. He thought he lost her, but she came back. He vows to never let her go again.

Friday, September 04
Ridge and Brooke enjoy their reunion, Owen has a request of Jackie, Steffy tells Whip to back off and Taylor learns Ridge has decided.
Ridge and Brooke bask in the glow of their reunion on the beach.
At Jackie M, Steffy comes to see Stephanie, but runs into Whip instead. She brings up Owen and Jackie and tells him to leave Jackie alone while she works on her marriage. Whip thinks they are ending things right now, but Steffy tells him they are crazy about each other. She realizes he just doesn’t want to see it because he’s crazy about Jackie too and warns him to stay away.
Taylor meets Stephanie at Il Giardino who tells her Brooke has gone to Paris. Taylor heard about it, but until Taylor knows Ridge is over Brooke emotionally, she will hold off on celebrating. Ridge calls Taylor and asks to meet him later. After hanging up, Taylor says Ridge sounded strange on the phone. She sees Katie and Donna at a nearby table and both women are surprised since Katie was supposed to be with Brooke over an ocean.
At home, Ridge tells Brooke he is planning on telling Taylor, but what matters most is the two of them. He says he is finally home and Brooke tells him she can’t go through this again. Ridge promises she won’t have to and they tell each other, “I am all yours.” They start to kiss and take off each other’s clothes. Things get more intense and they head to the bed.
As Owen and Jackie celebrate their reunion, Owen tells her he can’t work with Whip and asks her to let him go. Jackie understands his feelings, but she says he is a PR genius. Owen stands his ground and Jackie agrees he won’t have to work with Whip any more.
Stephanie and Taylor approach Katie and Donna, who tell them Brooke decided not to go to Paris. The Logan sisters tell them Brooke is with Ridge and go into the details. Donna and Katie leave, as Taylor looks devastated.
Stephanie tells Taylor they don’t know what exactly happened between Ridge and Brooke, but Taylor says she does. Stephanie thinks she and Ridge will have their day and Taylor says, “Obviously not today.”
After he and Brooke have sex, Ridge wonders how he let them drift apart. Brooke reminds him he lost a daughter and he notes how much they have endured together. Brooke says what doesn’t destroy them, makes them stronger and declares nothing will ever destroy them. Ridge calls her his angel and says she is the best part of him. When they were separated, a piece of him was missing. He is not the same person without her and he doesn’t ever want to be without her again. He says, “I absolutely adore you.”

Tuesday, September 08
Ridge and Taylor talk, Stephanie and Brooke talk over tequila, Owen has a change of heart, and Ridge and Brooke make it official.
Owen comes to Nick’s office and tells his son-in-law that he and Jackie are back together. Nick says he doesn’t ever want his mother parasailing again. Owen says not a problem – he’s given her a job that should be much easier for her. Nick doesn’t like the idea of Whip leaving because he’s good at his job and helped saved Jackie M. Owen responds that his marriage is more important to him than selling some dresses, but Nick reminds him he married into a company and they need it to do well in order to keep living the life they are all accustomed to.
In Jackie’s office, Whip learns Jackie and Owen are back together and he’s out of a job. Whip pleads his case, but Jackie has to do this for Owen because he gives her so much, but asks for so little. She is sorry and offers to tell people he is pursuing new projects, but tells him he is leaving today. Whip continues to fight for his job, but Jackie says the decision has been made. Owen walks in and says it means a lot to him that she’s willing to do this, but maybe it’s not the right thing for the company. Owen tells Whip he is okay with him working there as long as he understands Jackie is off limits.
Stephanie comes to Brooke’s bedroom and finds her lounging in her lingerie. Stephanie says she knows she and Ridge are back together. Brooke pulls out a bottle of tequila and pours them a couple of drinks. Stephanie can’t figure out why Ridge keeps choosing Brooke over and over again. Brooke thinks maybe it’s the passion, but Stephanie reminds her that it always ends badly. As the women civilly discuss Taylor, Ridge and their own relationship, Brooke asks why they never became friends. She wonders why since they both love Ridge and he will never leave either one of them. She raises her glass and asks, “Isn’t this better?”
Ridge meets with Taylor to tell her about Brooke, but she beats him to the punch. Ridge gently explains he didn’t realize how much he needed Brooke until she was leaving. He apologizes for hurting her, but Taylor says he didn’t promise her anything and she knew what she was getting into. Ridge loved their home and life and doesn’t know why it couldn’t be everything they wanted. Taylor muses that they’ve been through a lot this past year and they had to find a way to get through it and be there for each other. Ridge feels like he let Phoebe down, but Taylor thinks she would want him to be happy. Ridge thanks her, kisses her and leaves, as Taylor cries.
Brooke tells Ridge on the phone that she has to get dressed and then she’ll be there. She turns back to Stephanie and says if she can accept her future with Ridge and Donna’s future with Eric, then they can have a whole new beginning. Stephanie wonders why she would want that after building such a strong opposition towards everything she stands for.
Brooke meets Ridge at City Hall and asks how Taylor was. Ridge says she was amazing. Ridge notes Brooke has been drinking and Brooke admits to having a little bit, but says she thinks she is winning Stephanie over. They meet with a clerk and give him all their paperwork. He says they are all set and wishes them luck. They ask him to pronounce them husband and wife, but he doesn’t have the authority. He can however get them a marriage commissioner if they want him to officiate. They don’t need all that because they’ve done it so many times. They show him the many photos of all their past weddings and ask him to cut to the end. The man obliges and Brooke asks him to say, “You may now kiss the bride,” and he reluctantly does that as well. Ridge and Brooke kiss and Ridge says, “Finally.”

Wednesday, September 09
Rick makes peace with Ridge and Thomas, Owen and Whip shake on their new arrangement and Whip discovers something from Jackie’s past.
Ridge and Brooke summon Thorne, Felicia, Thomas, Steffy and Rick to Ridge’s office so they can christen a new life for all of them and for Forrester Creations. They pour champagne for everyone and Ridge says they need everyone’s help to build on their success from the fashion challenge. Brooke asks Felicia and Throne to come back to the company and promises their issues with Donna will be addressed and they will get the respect they deserve. Felicia and Thorne miss being there and accept. Ridge wants to put all the bitterness behind them and get back to being a family again. Ridge points at Rick and says they are all Forresters every single one of them. Rick is stunned and Ridge explains how much pain he was in when Phoebe died. He needed to blame someone, but he doesn't want to be that man anymore and with the help of Brooke and his family he’s been able to see his daughter’s death for what it was: an accident. He tells Rick they are bound by their love for Brooke and it can now bring them back together. He loves Brooke enough to make peace with him and he thinks Rick does too. Rick agrees and they shake and hug on it.
Owen and Whip shake on their agreement for Whip to stay on at Jackie M. Whip is appreciative and says he won’t let them down. Owen knows he is an asset to the company and Whip is impressed Owen can get past his ego and do what’s best for Jackie M. Owen takes responsibility for not telling Jackie about his twin brother and promises no more secrets.
Jackie and Owen talk alone about how important communication is between them. Owen tells his wife from now on he will never forget who she is: his fantasy, his wife and the love of his life.
Whip surfs the web and finds an old news story of Stephanie outing Jackie’s past at a fashion show.
Steffy leaves and Rick apologizes to everyone for being such a fool for such a long time. He wishes he could take everything he’s done back, but since he can’t, he will do things differently from now on. He starts by honoring the man who makes his mother so happy. He thanks Ridge and toasts to the happy couple. Everyone raises their glasses to toast except Thomas. Rick points his glass in Thomas’ direction and he eventually picks up a glass.
Whip shows a stunned Jackie a printout of what he saw online. Jackie demands he show her where he found it and he pulls it up for her. Jackie thought it was all behind her and explains her past to him. Jackie frets that if Whip could find it, Owen could too. She panics that Owen won’t be able to handle it and Whip thinks maybe he can flood the web with info on their cruisewear line in hopes of burying it. Jackie says she has to tell Owen and hopes he can understand and forgive her again.

Thursday, September 10
As Jackie opens up to Owen about her past, Steffy wishes she had a love like theirs and Nick and Whip worry.
Owen talks to Steffy about how classy, refined and even innocent Jackie is. He says her public image is all for show and there is an innocent spirit behind all that. Steffy is jealous of Owen and Jackie’s love and he wonders if she had that with Rick. She thought she did, but there was too much baggage. Owen says secrets are never good for a relationship and if someone is holding something back you won’t ever know who they really are. He feels he knows everything that matters about Jackie and that’s what Steffy wants: total respect and devotion. Owen thinks she will have that because she is beautiful and special. Owen has to leave and Steffy thanks him for the talk, calling him an inspiration.
Jackie tells Whip she has to fill Owen in on her past. Whip wonders why she didn’t tell him before they got married and she explains she thought Nick buried it. Whip urges her not to tell her husband and Nick walks in the office. Jackie tells her son about Whip finding the scandal at the fashion show. Nick thinks they have to come up with a strategy, but Jackie insists she has to tell Owen. Nick worries about how he will react and he and Whip try to convince Jackie not to tell Owen, but Jackie says Owen can’t love all of her if he doesn’t know all of her. Nick thinks this will change her marriage and the way Owen looks at her. Jackie has no choice because she is who she is and thinks if he doesn’t know the truth then she has already lost him. Owen calls from the parking lot and she tells him she will wait in the office for him. Nick asks if she needs him to stick around for support, but she has to do this on her own. Nick hugs his mother and tells her he loves her and then he and Whip leave.
Thomas comes to the coffeehouse and he and Steffy decide they can’t interfere in Ridge’s life and should focus on their own love lives instead. Sadly, they realize neither of them have much of a love life to speak of. Steffy tells her brother about Owen and how in love he is with Jackie. Thomas questions his motives, but Steffy defends their love. Thomas compares them to Ridge and Brooke and Steffy says Brooke and Jackie are very lucky.
Whip and Nick talk about Jackie and Owen in Nick’s office and they both hope Owen doesn’t do or say anything to hurt Jackie.
Jackie recalls her life with Owen, as Owen walks in with coffee for her. Jackie tells him they’ve had a lot to deal with in their very short marriage and there’s one more thing for them to get through. Jackie tells him she has to show him something and opens up the laptop to the piece on her being outted at the fashion show. Owen thinks it was just a prank by Stephanie, but Jackie says some of what she said was true. She goes into the details about how some men she was dating helped her financially. Owen wonders why she didn’t tell him and she says she hadn’t thought about it in a long time, but the video found its way to the Internet and she didn’t want any secrets between them. Jackie asks a silently upset Owen to say something and with a mixture of hurt and anger, he responds, “No!”

Monday, September 14
Justin Barber hits town, Katie wants to double date, Donna is shaken and Owen needs time alone.
Owen tries to process Jackie’s explanation of why she took money from the men she slept with. He’s upset because he is the last person to find out about this, but Jackie thought it wasn’t an issue anymore until she saw it on the Internet. Jackie hopes it won’t change things for them, but Owen says it changes everything. He doesn’t know what to think and needs some time to put it all together. He walks out the door and Jackie stops him urging him to never forget that she loves him.
Bill meets with Justin Barber who is his friend and executive vice president of his company. Justin asks if the rumors are true about him and his new lady friend and Bill tells him about Katie. Justin has never seen the look Bill has in his eye regarding any other woman and Bill thinks Katie can be good for him in more ways than one. Justin brings up Forrester Creations and says it’s ripe for a takeover.
Donna and Katie discuss Bill, and Donna says she is warming up to the idea of them being together. She hopes their relationship can blossom into something as beautiful as she and Eric have. Katie thinks it would be great if Eric and Bill could bury the hatchet and suggests the four of them go to dinner. Donna doesn’t think it will be that easy for Eric to get over everything, but Katie presses Donna to ask Eric to meet them at Café Russe. Donna will ask, but can’t promise anything.
Still at the coffee shop, Thomas is wary of Owen’s love for Jackie, but Steffy defends him. She says Owen’s face lights up when he talks about his wife and he loves her unconditionally.
Nick comes to see his distraught mother and consoles her over Owen. He says as hard as it was, she did the right thing because Owen would have found out. Jackie knows this, but she wasn’t prepared for his reaction. Nick thinks Owen will come around, but Jackie worries he will never see her the same way again.
Steffy gets ready to leave the coffee shop and sees Owen. She notices he’s upset and asks what’s going on. He tells her he found something out that might change the way he sees his wife. Owen just wants to get over it, but it’s not that simple because he’s felt like her boy toy in the past and the whole thing with Whip still bothers him. He wonders if he’s just a fool, but Steffy assures him he is a kind caring man. She admires him for trying to understand and forgive Jackie, which speaks to his character. He is the kind of man any woman would be lucky to have. Owen wonders if he is the only guy who believes in the sanctity of marriage and monogamy, but Steffy says she is one of those people too. Owen wonders if it even exists anymore, but then looks at Steffy and says, “I guess it does.”
Katie meets Bill and Justin at Café Russe and learns Justin went to school in the valley, but moved to New York afterwards. Katie says Eric and Donna are meeting them later and Bill and Justin exchange glances.
Donna comes to meet Katie and Bill and says Eric had a late meeting and will join them later. She sees Justin and looks stunned. They acknowledge they know each other from high school and catch up. Justin leaves and Donna is rattled.

Tuesday, September 15
Eric has a surprise for Marcus, Donna confides in Katie and Jackie asks Owen for forgiveness.
Donna looks at a profile of Justin online when Marcus and Katie come in. She quickly hides what she’s looking at as Katie asks where Eric is. Marcus goes on about how great Eric has been to him and calls him a father figure.
At her loft, Jackie talks to Nick on the phone about how Owen didn’t come home last night, as Owen comes in the door. They get into their issues about Jackie’s past and Owen doesn’t know if he can understand her actions. Jackie thinks maybe losing him is the price she has to pay for what she did. Owen isn’t sure he can get over it and Jackie sees his presence there as a sign of what a decent man he is. She says it took her a long time to get over what she did and he tells her she’s never been like anyone else and that’s what he loves about her. He says there are a lot of things they have to work on and Jackie knows it’s too much to ask him to forgive her again. However, she begs him to look past it, look into his heart and try and forgive her one more time. Owen smiles and says that he can. Relieved, Jackie grabs him and tells him how much she loves him.
Eric finds Marcus on the rooftop and tells him how much he appreciates his contribution to the company. Eric notes how happy Donna is to have him in her life and how her giving him up as a baby is in the past and it should stay that way. Marcus believes he’s one of the luckiest guys in the world. He respects Eric for his talent, as well as his big heart and the lives he touches. Eric has come to think of Marcus as family and hands him some papers petitioning to legally adopt him. Eric notes they never talked about his adoptive parents or real father and Marcus says his real dad doesn't know about him, but Eric is the only father he needs. Eric says, “So this is where we are supposed to hug?” And Marcus notes it's where he’s supposed to ask him to call him dad. They both like the sound of that and hug.
Katie asks why Donna made up an excuse to not have dinner with her and Bill. Donna brings up Justin and Katie asks what he was like in the past. Donna gets teary and tells her sister he is Marcus’ father. Katie is stunned and Donna talks about how crazy she was about him and that she found out she was pregnant the same day he found out he got a basketball scholarship. She didn’t want to hold him back so she gave up both Justin and Marcus. Katie asks if she’s going to tell him he has a son, but Donna doesn’t know what the right decision is. She doesn’t know what kind of person Justin is now and she doesn’t want to change the way Marcus feels about Eric. Katie tells her his feelings for Eric don’t have to change and suggests she feel Marcus out. Donna agrees saying if he’s not even interested, “Why bother telling Marcus?” Marcus enters wondering what she’s talking about. Katie gets a call from Bill and leaves to take it. Marcus asks what Donna is keeping from him and after they talk for a bit, she tells her son, “It’s time to meet your father.”

Wednesday, September 16
Bill quizzes Justin; Donna, Marcus and Eric celebrate being a family; Bill has plans for Katie; and Justin comes to see Donna.
As Katie and Eric discuss Marcus' adoption, Eric says it seems fair to make his standing in the Forrester family official. Katie wonders what happens if he wants to find his birth father, but Eric responds that he doesn’t want to. Besides, the odds of his birth father showing up now are slim to none.
Donna and Marcus discuss him wanting to know his father, as well as the circumstances surrounding her pregnancy. As Donna goes on about the past and his father, Marcus tells her Eric wants to adopt him. Donna knew about this, but didn’t know he was going to do it today. Donna says they should think about this, but Marcus assures her his adoptive parents want what he wants and he wants this. Donna brings up his biological father, but Marcus doesn’t have any interest in finding him because the man doesn’t know anything about him and Marcus doesn’t want to mess up either of their lives. Marcus has everything he wants with her and Eric.
Eric comes in the office and finds Donna and Marcus embracing. Marcus says this is something he’s wanted his whole life and Donna thanks Eric, saying she loves them both so much. Eric tells them they are a chance at happiness that he didn’t let slip through his fingers. Marcus says he is stuck with them now and Eric vows to keep it that way. Eric says the adoption is complex, but his lawyer is optimistic. Marcus assures them his adoptive parents won’t be against it because while they were good to him, they weren’t that close.
Justin and Bill talk business and Bill asks what Donna was like in high school. They talk about the Logan sisters and Justin thinks Bill should hire Katie away from Forrester if they don’t want Forrester to become an issue between them, but then says, “Unless acquiring Forrester is no longer a part of the plan.” Bill says it is still part of the plan, but with Katie involved it will require a bit more finesse. Bill returns to the topic of Donna and thinks she’s wasted on Eric, but Justin says she seems happy enough.
Katie comes to Bill’s office where he and Justin are still talking. Katie asks Justin how he went from basketball to business and notes what a small world it is in regards to her sister. Justin says everyone loved Donna and that she was very special. He always knew where he stood with her because there was no drama or games.
Alone with Bill, Katie suggests they go out to dinner with Eric and Donna, but Bill doesn't think Eric would want to do that. Katie thinks they could also invite Justin because he seems like a nice guy. Bill says he is the most honorable and trustworthy guy he knows and Katie asks what his story is. Bill doesn't get into people’s business, but he does know he was a great basketball player, but had a career ending injury that prevented him from going pro. They spar together though, so he thinks he’s made a complete recovery. Bill doesn't want to share her with anyone tonight because he wants it to be just the two of them. He promises her a very memorable evening, maybe even unforgettable.
As Donna packs up for the day, Justin comes to see her. He explains he was surprised to see her last night and that’s why he may have come off as cool. They exchange information they know about each other and then move on to their past. Justin wondered what happened to them because one day he came by the house and her mother told him she went to study abroad. She says it came up unexpectedly, but Justin wonders why she didn’t say anything. She reminds him he was on the East Coast in college and living a different life. She says it was just a high school romance and it had to end eventually. Justin admits it hurt his pride, but he got over it. He says she’s obviously the same person without a mean bone in her body. He always wondered what was going on with her though and if there was something he should have known.

Thursday, September 17
Justin meets Marcus, Eric tells Stephanie he’s adopting Donna’s son, Donna worries Justin will find out the truth, and Justin discovers some interesting information.
On the rooftop, Marcus plays basketball with some guys and Katie comes to see him. The guys leave and Katie shoots a few baskets with her nephew. Marcus is too excited and has to tell someone, so he says he found his father. Katie is stunned, but then realizes he’s talking about Eric adopting him.
After Justin presses for an answer about what happened years ago, Donna apologizes for whatever pain she caused him. He didn’t need an apology, but it was still nice to get one. He asks about her marriage and family and they talk about Beth. They talk about him and Donna learns he is divorced and has no kids. He says maybe he’s one of those guys who is never meant to have children. Donna shares she and Eric aren’t planning to have kids and Justin thinks it’s sad for her not to get a chance to be a mother. Marcus comes in the office and Donna nervously introduces Marcus to Justin without letting on that he’s her son. Donna gets Marcus out of the office and Justin says he should get going too. Donna wonders if he’s going back to New York and Justin says soon. Before he leaves, Justin tells her they really shared something and she will always be with him. Donna feels the same way.
Stephanie comes to see Ridge in his office, but finds Eric who tells her he’s adopting Marcus. Stephanie wonders why he is adopting a grown man, but Eric says even their adult children need their father. Eric notes he’s already put Marcus in his will, but he also wants to give him a family. Stephanie doesn’t think their children will take the news so well, but Eric points out Marcus is already entitled to a portion of his estate so it won’t affect their kids. Stephanie tells him it’s about his lack of a relationship with his kids and the negative impact Donna has had on his life. Stephanie thinks the kids will be hurt by this and says it’s hurtful to her. Eric wants Marcus to be his son and asks her not to cause any problems. Eric leaves to go to a meeting and Stephanie looks at a photo of her family and gets dizzy. She looks at her right arm, seems puzzled, and then wiggles her fingers and walks out of the office.
Justin goes back to Bill’s office and looks into Forrester Creations online. He pulls up Donna’s profile and sees a photo of her and Marcus and reads that Marcus is her son that she gave up for adoption. Stunned, he says, “Is Marcus my son?”
Katie walks in Eric’s office and finds Donna who tells her she just saw Justin. She says she didn’t tell him about Marcus and wonders if it was the right thing to do. Donna is confused, but Katie reminds her about Eric’s plans to adopt Marcus and understands that she doesn't want to mess that up. Donna says both Eric and Marcus are so excited about this and she’s never seen her son so happy, but she can’t help but wonder. However Marcus told her he didn’t want to meet his biological father, but she thinks he may have said that because it’s what he thought she wanted to hear. Katie counters that she should take him at his word and Donna agrees saying Justin is leaving soon so they can get on with their lives. Donna emphatically states that Justin cannot know that Marcus is his son.

Friday, September 18
Justin asks Donna for the truth, Ridge finds out about the adoption and the wait is over for Bill and Katie.
Donna tells Katie she doesn’t want to complicate things so it’s best Justin doesn’t know Marcus is his son.
Justin looks at profiles of Donna and Marcus online and wonders if Marcus could be his son.
Katie comes to Bill’s place expecting to go out, but Bill has dinner set up for them right there.
In Eric’s office, Marcus looks at a photo of Eric with his kids and says, “My family. Thank you Dad.” Justin comes in and they talk basketball and then Justin asks him about finding his mother after all these years. Donna comes in and nervously wonders what’s going on. Justin says he’s leaving town and wanted to say goodbye. He asks why Donna didn’t tell him Marcus was her son. Donna says it didn’t come up, but confirms that Marcus is her son. Justin asks Marcus some more questions and Donna interrupts them.
Marcus leaves and Justin says he’s a fine young man and Donna must be very proud of him. They discuss him and Justin brings up their past again. He then asks about Marcus finding her and she says it was scary, but now Marcus makes her so happy. Justin sees that and says that’s how he would feel. He continues to quiz her about the adoption and her relationship with Marcus now. He tells her she is blessed and she says there isn’t a day that goes by that she doesn’t realize that, but there are also responsibilities to her son. Justin never understood why she cut off communication all those years ago, but now he thinks he does. She tries to leave, but Justin stops her and asks her to be straight with him. He asks, “Is Marcus our son? Am I his father?”
Ridge walks in his office and finds Eric who tells him he is adopting Marcus. Ridge questions this decision and Eric explains Marcus watches over the company the way only a family member could and they should be proud to embrace him as one of their own. Ridge wonders how much he really knows about Marcus and is surprised he’s so gung ho about it. Marcus walks in and says he can see why Ridge wouldn’t agree with the adoption. He doesn’t want to cause trouble for the family, but he already feels like Eric is his father and it would mean a lot to him if he were his son. Ridge tells Marcus Eric wanting to adopt him speaks to the men they both are and says he is not against it. He respects his father’s decision, but tells Marcus to respect what it means to be a part of the family.
Bill and Katie enjoy their meal and Katie wonders what’s going on behind his eyes because he’s usually thinking about business. Bill says, “Not tonight,” and kisses her. Bill has been waiting for this moment and she says he’s a man who doesn’t like to wait. Bill agrees, but says for her, it was worth it. They go in the bedroom and start to kiss and undress each other and hit the sheets.
As they bask in the afterglow, Katie tells Bill she’s not afraid of him hurting her because she knows there is a heart in his chest because she can feel it beating and they start to kiss again.

Monday, September 21
Jackie M throws Stephanie a party, Justin doesn’t get the answer he was looking for and Stephanie has another episode.
After Justin presses Donna to tell him if Marcus is his son, she recalls Marcus saying he is happy to have Eric as his father and doesn’t need to meet his biological dad. She tells Justin Marcus is not his son, but Justin doesn’t believe it. Marcus walks in and puts something on Eric’s desk. He tells Justin he wants to play basketball before he leaves town and Justin would like that. Marcus leaves and Justin says the only thing missing in his life is a child of his own. Donna thinks he’ll have that someday and Justin asks why she won't tell him Marcus is his. She tells him there was someone else when he went to college and asks him to drop it. He asks who it was because if Marcus isn’t his, then he wants to know who his father is. Donna tells him it’s a time in her life she wants to forget. He will let it go, but says there is something special about Marcus, probably because she is his mother and wishes he were his son. Justin leaves and longingly looks at Marcus out in the hall as Donna cries.
As Bridget plans a special celebration on the phone, Nick comes up behind her and she gets flustered and quickly ends her conversation. They kiss as Brooke comes in and they tell her they are planning a party for Stephanie to celebrate some of her accomplishments, one of which has been getting Jackie M into five new chains in the last two weeks.
Pam and Whip interrupt Jackie and Owen’s make out session to tell them about the surprise for Stephanie. Stephanie walks in and asks for some aspirin because she has a headache. She says she has another meeting and they all marvel over her work ethic. They suggest she rest, but Stephanie insists she’s fine and is going to shipping because they are behind on the orders.
Brooke goes home to meet Ridge who tells her Eric is adopting Marcus. She asks how he feels about that and Ridge says Marcus is a good guy and has earned his place at Forrester and in their family. Brooke tells Ridge about the party for Stephanie because she’s made quite a mark at Jackie M. Ridge isn’t surprised and wishes they could hire her back at FC. They start to kiss and get romantic.
Stephanie comes in her office to find the Jackie M crew celebrating her accomplishments. She says their success is due to Bridget’s designs and Whip’s PR work, but they deflect it back to her. Stephanie says they have all made her happier than she has ever been in her life, calls them her family and thanks them all. Everyone suggests Stephanie call it a day and get some rest because she’s been working so much. Stephanie says there is nothing wrong with her and says she gets her energy from all of them and together they can take on the world. She says they are the number one fashion house in L.A. and soon they will be number one in the world. As a puzzled Pam looks on, Stephanie hugs Bridget, but then looks a little disoriented.
Nick and Bridget return to their office and Bridget says she has never seen Stephanie like that before. She questions how Stephanie said she could ‘never be happier’ and wonders if she has forgotten all the things she’s lost over the year. She also wonders why she called them her family and thinks it seemed a little strange.
Pam tells Stephanie she could hardly believe what was coming out of her mouth during her speech. She asks if she’s okay considering all she’s had to endure and Stephanie says it's all in the past and she has a whole new life now. She slurs her words and Pam asks what she said. Stephanie says she asked her to go home because she has a lot of work to do. Pam tells her not to work too hard and leaves, as Stephanie looks concerned and confused. She slowly makes her way to her chair and sits down, but has blurry vision and wiggles her fingers again. She keeps repeating, “I’m fine.”

Tuesday, September 22
Stephanie talks to Taylor about her regrets, Eric and Donna discuss his life with Stephanie, Ridge and Brooke pledge their love and Stephanie’s condition gets worse.
As Stephanie remains blurry eyed at her desk, she gets a call from Ridge. Stephanie is confused as she talks to him about having lunch sometime this week.
Eric looks for a photo of a dress he designed for Stephanie years ago and Donna finds it for him. They look through old photos and talk about Stephanie. He says all Stephanie had time for was the company, or maybe that’s all he ever gave her time for. He says he allowed Stephanie to do the things he was too lazy to take care of. Eric wonders if Donna minds talking about Stephanie, but she says she wants to like her and be grateful for all the years she loved him and was what he needed before they met. Donna tells him she wants to honor everything he did and was before they met. Eric feels that way about her too and that’s why he wanted to explore adopting Marcus. He wonders if there is anyone else he should be reaching out to, such as his biological father. Donna tells him Marcus doesn’t want to meet him, but Eric notes the man was someone she loved and she shouldn’t forget him. He says love remembered might be the best thing about love because you don’t know how much you need it until it stops.
In bed, Brooke teases Ridge about calling his mother after they had sex. They talk about Stephanie and how well she’s doing at Jackie M. Ridge says she manages people, events and relationships and she is very savvy and knows everyone, but what she does really well, no one will want or understand. Brooke asks how much he loves her and he turns it back on her. He asks what she would refuse him and she says nothing. They say they will love each other always and kiss.
Stephanie comes into Taylor’s house and asks for money because she had to take a taxi home. Taylor wonders where her car is and Stephanie says it died. Steffy notes Stephanie’s wallet is in her bag and grabs it to pay the driver. Stephanie is disoriented, but then tells Taylor how she spent her whole life waiting for the kids to grow up and for Eric to retire. She says no one ever tells you all you do is wait and then it’s just done. As she looks back on her life, she thinks she could have made more of herself instead of more of Eric and everyone around her. Taylor points out they needed her and Stephanie says the only mistake she really made was living the wrong life. Taylor doesn’t think this sounds like her and that she shouldn’t downplay her accomplishments or her role in her relationship with Eric. Stephanie tells her friend to go to the airport or she will miss her plane, but then says she didn’t plan to grow old like this and maybe the answer is to just not grow any older. Taylor wonders if she should be concerned about her and offers to leave tomorrow, but Stephanie chalks it up to drinking too much champagne at her party.
Steffy returns from getting Stephanie’s car and says it’s fine. Taylor asks her daughter to keep an eye on Stephanie while she’s gone and leaves. Steffy discusses dinner options with her grandmother who is having a hard time concentrating. Steffy wonders if she is okay and Stephanie falls to the floor. Steffy runs out to call for Taylor, and then rushes back inside to call for help.

Wednesday, September 23
Stephanie is rushed to the hospital, Pam worries about her sister, Nick serenades Bridget and Stephanie is in denial.
Steffy frantically calls 911 and then helps her grandmother off the floor, who doesn’t remember falling. The ambulance comes and the EMTs check Stephanie out over her insistence that she is fine. She says she doesn’t remember if she’s eaten and doesn’t answer when asked what day it is or where she is. They ask if she’s had a history of stroke or heart disease and Steffy is concerned.
At the office, Bridget continues to worry about Stephanie, but Nick thinks she’s a tough bird and she’ll be fine. As Bridget works, Nick sits around waiting for her to be done and says she deserves some recognition like all the parties they’ve thrown for Stephanie and Whip. He tells her she’s the one who needs to be acknowledged because if it weren’t for her designs, they would have nothing to sell. Bridget doesn’t want a party, but would like to be immortalized in song and hands Nick his guitar. Nick begins singing, "An Ode to an Unsung Hero," which he seemingly makes up on the spot. Bridget thinks it's adorable and kisses her husband.
Pam comes to Taylor’s house looking for Stephanie and Thomas tells her no one was home when he got there. They talk about how well Stephanie is doing at Jackie M, but Pam says being away from the company and the family has taken a toll on her. Pam adds her sister didn’t expect to end up where she is and Thomas empathizes saying he didn’t expect his parents to be apart and his dad with Brooke either. Pam feels bad for him, but worries about Stephanie because she was acting weird at the party they threw for her. Thomas calls his grandmother, but they discover her phone is at home. Thomas says he’ll call Steffy.
At the hospital, the doctor questions Stephanie, who doesn’t know what happened, and Steffy says it could have been a stroke. Stephanie insists she fainted because she was hungry, tired or dehydrated. Steffy tells the doctor Stephanie looked strange before she collapsed. The doctor says she isn’t ruling anything out and will be back. Steffy wants to call Ridge, but Stephanie doesn’t want to worry anyone, insisting she’s fine.
The doctor returns and asks if Stephanie has been experiencing symptoms, which could indicate she’s suffered a series of mini strokes. Stephanie admits she lost her balance, her right arm felt numb and she had some trouble collecting her thoughts earlier. The doctor tells her the tests indicated she had a minor stroke, which could lead to a bigger problem, but Stephanie refuses to believe it.
Stephanie tells the doctor she’s leaving, and after ignoring Thomas' call, Steffy returns to see her grandmother trying to get out of bed. Steffy asks the doctor for a minute alone and tells Stephanie they have to find out what happened to her so it doesn’t happen again. Steffy tells her how worried she is and Stephanie agrees to stay, but says Steffy has to come up with a cover story for the family. Steffy leaves to tell the doctor and Stephanie tells herself she’s fine.

Thursday, September 24
Marcus gives Eric a present, Stephanie has problems at work and Justin continues to press Donna.
Steffy brings Stephanie home and says she needs to tell Taylor about what happened, but Stephanie doesn't want anyone to know. Stephanie wants to drive to work, but Steffy insists she do the chauffeuring. Stephanie agrees, but makes her promise to keep everything a secret.
Donna, Eric and Marcus celebrate Marcus becoming a member of the Forrester family. Donna says she should have given Marcus a family, a father and a place to belong years ago. Eric says Gloria is on the way over with the papers and Marcus gives Eric a present for all the father’s days he missed. Eric opens it and finds Marcus’ league MVP trophy from high school basketball. Marcus tells him he scanned the crowd looking for his real father when he won it, but now he found him and the trophy belongs to him. Eric will treasure it, as well as Marcus and opens a bottle of champagne to celebrate. Donna thinks the three of them have earned the right to call themselves family because they have love and respect and no one will take it away from them.
Bill meets Justin at Il Giardino to discuss business, but Justin is distracted and tells Bill Marcus might be his son. Bill is skeptical, but Justin thinks Donna’s strange behavior suggests something is going on. Bill sends Jarrett a message to check Marcus’ birthday and he promptly replies with a date only a few months after Justin and Donna broke up. Justin knows she couldn’t have been with anyone else and goes to talk to Donna.
Once in her office, Stephanie sits at her desk and lays her head back. Nick, Bridget and Whip come in and Stephanie gets defensive when they joke about her slacking on the job. Whip has papers for Stephanie to sign, but she says she’ll look at them later. Pam comes in and Stephanie asks her to take notes for the meeting. Nick and Bridget show her the latest designs and Stephanie points out the lace, which is actually latex. Whip gives her a cup of coffee and she spills it all over her desk. Stephanie blames it on the cup being hot and apologizes for ruining the designs. Bridget notes she’s been working hard and Nick and Whip suggest she take a vacation. Stephanie won’t hear of it, stumbles over some words and insists they all get back to work as Bridget, Nick and Whip look puzzled and Pam looks concerned. Whip asks her to sign the papers, but Stephanie can’t see them through her blurred vision and tells him she will later. Everyone leaves except Pam, who stays behind wanting some sister time. Stephanie tells her to pencil herself in for a lunch.
Donna makes dinner reservations for her Marcus and Eric to celebrate and Justin walks in the office. He doesn’t want to mess up her life, but he believes Marcus is his kid. Donna insists there was someone else, but Justin doesn’t buy it. He continues to press her and tells her she has the power to make him the happiest man. Donna finally admits through tears that it’s true: Marcus is his son.
Nick and Bridget return to their office and Bridget is concerned about Stephanie’s defensiveness, but Nick doesn’t think there’s anything to worry about.
Alone in her office, Stephanie tries to read the contracts she has to sign, but still can’t see them. She picks up a pen and has a hard time holding it and signing her name. Frustrated, she wonders why this is happening to her.

Friday, September 25 Pam questions Stephanie, Justin comes to terms with the truth, Owen and Steffy talk, and Marcus catches Donna and Justin in an embrace.
Stephanie goes online and has a hard time reading about the symptoms and effects of a stroke. She says she doesn’t have a headache so it couldn’t have been a stroke. She touches her right hand and Pam comes in wondering what to do with the extra champagne from the party. Stephanie closes her laptop and makes Pam repeat what she’s doing in the office. She’s abrupt with her sister and yells at her for being concerned. Pam thinks she is working too hard and wants to make sure she will be around for a long time. Stephanie promises she will be. Pam sees the document Whip needs and Stephanie gets upset at Pam’s insistence that she sign it right now. Pam asks where she was last night, but Stephanie won’t get into it and orders her back to work. When Stephanie turns her back, Pam opens the laptop and says, “Oh my God. A stroke?” Stephanie tries to deny it, but Pam points out her recent behavior and says their mother had the same symptoms, but she got better. She asks when Ridge’s birthday is and Stephanie stalls saying Pam is insulting her and just trying to pick a fight. Stephanie calls Pam delusional and recites her past. She reminds her she saves her every time and even got her a job and doesn’t need to hear her accusations. Pam persists and urges her not to ignore the symptoms. Stephanie’s had enough and asks her to leave. Pam needs her to sign papers first, but Stephanie gets frustrated when she can’t do it and yells out, “Okay!” Pam embraces her.
Justin is happy to learn he has a son, but wonders why Donna didn’t tell him. Donna didn’t want to ruin his life, but he tells her he loved her. Donna loved him too, but they were in high school and he had so many opportunities in front of him. She apologizes for not telling him and asks him not to hate her. Justin could never hate her and understands why she did what she did. He wishes she didn’t have to go through it alone though and thinks Marcus is a wonderful young man. He wants to know him and be a father to Marcus, but Donna tells him Marcus doesn’t want to know his biological father. Justin is crushed, but Donna tells him Marcus is happy and Eric wants to adopt him. She says it’s the first time Marcus will have stability in his life and it’s a dream come true for him. Justin finds it ironic that he finally found out he has a son, only to learn he’s gone again. In any case, Justin is happy to know he has a son, thanks Donna and kisses her. Donna says she will make an introduction, but she can’t promise him anything.
Marcus walks in the office and finds Donna and Justin hugging. He looks confused as a realization sets in and asks, “Is this my father?”
Steffy sits at a table at Il Giardino and thinks about Stephanie. Owen walks by and joins her. He asks what’s on her mind and she says it’s hard to know what the right thing to do is sometimes. Owen is familiar with that and says he’s working on his marriage and trying to get things back to where they were. He’s trying not to let Jackie’s past bother him and what they have now is incredible. He thanks her for helping him and wants to return the favor. She tells him she’s worried about her grandmother. Owen thinks she’s doing great, but Steffy wonders if Stephanie is using her job at Jackie M to escape facing losing her husband and company. Owen praises Steffy for being sensitive and perceptive and for not always putting herself first. Steffy just hopes she can help Stephanie because she’s not invincible.

Monday, September 28
Stephanie offends everyone at Jackie M, Bill has a plan for Katie and Marcus comes to terms with Justin.
Stephanie admits to Pam she may have had a little stroke, but she is a force in the fashion industry and nothing will change that. Nick pages in and says they have a meeting and Stephanie tells Pam she is going to prove what has happened had no effect on her.
In his office, Bill asks Katie if Justin is Donna’s ‘baby daddy’. Katie can’t lie and Bill says, “It’s true. Justin is Marcus’ father.”
Donna admits to Marcus that Justin is his father, but Justin never knew. Justin expresses his understanding yet again for why she did what she did and says all that matters is that they are here together. Marcus is dumbstruck and Justin talks about how much he wants to get to know him and be a father to him. Justin cries as he expresses how happy he is to finally have a son. Justin isn’t pressuring him and says he realizes they are practically strangers and that Eric wants to adopt him. Justin says being a Forrester is an honor and Marcus responds that Eric has been good to him and he reiterates that they are strangers. Justin says there is only one way to remedy that and Marcus asks if he will stick around town. Justin is thrilled and hugs his son.
Whip shows Nick, Bridget, Jackie and Owen the new Eye on Fashion about Jackie M being on the upswing. Stephanie walks in with Pam and says they can give her the credit for the good press considering everything she’s done for the company. They all go over some numbers and when asked about them, Stephanie looks confused and says she’s always gone by her instincts and doesn’t need to rely on numbers and if anyone has a problem with that, “There’s the door.” Jackie tells her no one is questioning her and Stephanie hopes not considering all her experience at FC and at Jackie M. She gets defensive and Pam suggests they get back to business. Stephanie agrees but gets in some shots putting everyone down saying she turned this company around and she is Jackie M designs. Whip leaves and Jackie says, “Here I thought I was Jackie M” and follows with Owen. Bridget asks how she could say those things because she thought they were trying to build Jackie M as a team. Bridget and Nick leave and Stephanie wonders why she said those things.
As Bill talks on the phone, Katie discovers a corkboard with all the Forrester Creations players’ photos on it. Katie can’t believe he’s still obsessed with this, but he reminds her he never told her he was backing off. He says he wants to save the company, but he can’t run it by himself. He puts her photo at the top of the board and says that’s where she comes in. He wants her to be the CEO of FC, but Katie worries about her family. Bill wants everyone to stay and contribute because he is not out to get Eric, but says he and Ridge are not world-class businessmen. He thinks Katie has what it takes to lead the company; she just needs to learn to be more aggressive. He’s confident he can bring it out in her if she’ll let him. Katie appreciates his confidence in her, but thinks people will laugh at her if she is made CEO. He tells her he won’t let that happen and they kiss. He tells her she kisses like a CEO, but she hasn’t agreed to anything yet. He says she will because the beautiful smart ones always do.

Tuesday, September 29
Eric learns about Justin, Marcus decides if he wants Eric to be his dad, Bill draws up papers to buy Forrester and Katie tells Brooke and Ridge about Bill’s plan.
Brooke comes to see Ridge in his office and as they kiss, Ridge gets a phone call from Michael from the bank asking about their loan payment. Ridge says the messenger is on the way, but it’s been a rough time lately. Michael reminds him the loan terms specify their payment needs to be there by noon. Ridge assures him it will be there. Katie walks in and says Bill is still interested in Forrester Creations and they should hear the strong argument he made to take over the company. Ridge doesn’t want to hear it, but Katie tells him how much they would benefit from having Spencer Publications backing them. Brooke and Ridge are both outraged and Ridge declares Bill will never get his hands on their company. Brooke warns Katie to be careful with Bill, but Katie thinks he would be able to bail them out and keep them afloat. Brooke wonders who Bill will put in charge if he takes over the company. She says, “You? His girlfriend?”
In his office, Bill discusses Forrester’s loan payment deadline with Justin and then brings up Marcus. Justin says he wants to stay in town to get to know his son, but worries that Eric is adopting him. Bill’s assistant comes in to announce Michael from the bank is there to see him and Michael enters. Bill asks him if he received FC’s payment yet and if not then they have defaulted, so the bank will be forced to foreclose. If that is the case, then Bill will buy the company. Michael tells him they don’t treat their long-term clients like that, but Bill tells him it’s a bad loan and he has to act in the best interests of the bank, as well as his own interests. Bill pulls out papers he’s drawn up to purchase FC and all Michael has to do is sign them. Michael looks over the papers, reluctantly asks for a pen and signs them.
Michael and Justin leave Bill’s office and Katie walks in. She tells him she ran his proposal by Ridge and Brooke, but they won’t sell. She also tells him how Brooke and Ridge laughed at the idea of her being put in charge. Bill tells her they just can’t see how important she is to FC. He doesn’t think she will ever get the respect she deserves with the Forresters in charge and asks her to join forces with him. He shows her the papers for the sale from the bank and tells her it’s time to stand up for herself and reach her full potential. All he has to do is sign the papers and Forrester Creations is theirs. He grabs a pen, but Katie asks him not to sign them.
Marcus tells Donna he’s glad he got to meet his biological father. He didn’t think he wanted to know who he was, but now that he’s met him he’s glad he came into his life. Donna is happy for him, but they note Eric is drawing up the adoption papers right now. Eric walks in and says the paperwork has been finalized and all they have to do is sign them. Marcus tells him his biological father came into his life and they fill him in on Justin. Donna hates this is happening now and hopes he understands. Eric asks if Marcus is okay with Justin and Marcus confirms. Eric says he’s okay with it then and thinks it must be incredible for Marcus. He asks about Justin and learns that he works for Bill Spencer. Donna assures him Justin is a good man though and wants to be part of Marcus’ life. Eric wonders if they will need the adoption papers, as he will understand if this changes things for him. Marcus tells him no man has ever been there for him like he has and he likes the idea of them being a family legally. Eric would also like very much for him to officially be a member of the Forrester Family and they sign the papers, as Donna beams. Eric tells him he is officially Marcus Forrester.

Wednesday, September 30
Bill charms Katie, Forrester Creations plans for the future and Katie drops a bomb on her sisters.
As they get flirty, Ridge tells Brooke they can make Forrester more exciting than it’s ever been and Brooke responds, as long as they can keep Bill Spencer away.
The Forresters gather in Eric’s office to welcome Marcus to the family. Eric tells them family unity will help them come back stronger than ever. They hold a business meeting and Thorne brings up Katie’s new ideas for the Royalty campaign, leading Ridge and Brooke to tell them Bill is interested in acquiring Forrester again. A messenger enters with the delivery receipt of the loan payment to the bank. Ridge declares since the bank received payment, they are back in business!
Bill tells Katie FC is going down and wonders if she wants to help him bring it out of its downward spiral. Katie wonders what he would do if she told him it would be over between them if he took over Forrester. Bill thinks they have a good thing going and would hate to lose it, but Forrester is their future and it’s her decision if she wants it or not. He doesn’t want to destroy FC, he wants to build it back up. With her passion and his power they can do incredible things together and make Forrester hot again. Katie still balks and Bill thinks she’s resisting because she still sees herself as ‘sweet little Katie Logan’. He tells her she is smarter than Brooke and sexier than Donna and he sees her for who she really is: the toughest chick in the room. He wants her to see him for who he is as well and points to the Forrester contract saying that’s who he is. He doesn’t want to lose her, because he loves her. Katie is shocked to hear him say those three little words and he says if she can’t accept him for who he is…She stops him and says she does. They kiss and Katie silently gives him the go ahead to sign the sale of Forrester Creations. He says, “Forrester Creations is ours,” and he gives her a smoldering kiss.
Outside Bill’s office, Jarrett learns Bill is trying to take over FC again and debates the issue with Justin. Jarrett thinks Katie has softened Bill and Bill’s assistant agrees, but Justin says he is still a shrewd businessman and will not back down.
In Ridge’s office, Brooke tells Rick and Ridge how happy she is they are working together and getting along. Rick leaves and Brooke follows to find Katie. Thorne comes to the office and tells Ridge the check was late to the bank and wonders if it will be a problem. Ridge calls Michael at the bank, but he’s unavailable. Thorne can’t believe he’s too busy to take their call.
