Monday, August 03
Ridge finds out about the text messages, Steffy and Thomas worry they’ve made things worse, Brooke asks Ridge to make a decision and Whip moves in upstairs from Jackie.
Whip calls Jackie from his new loft, which is upstairs from her, and she agrees to come up to visit.
Despite Taylor and Stephanie’s demands that she leave the wedding, Brooke stays put. The minister walks out though as Brooke tells Ridge what’s been going on with her text messages. Ridge demands answers and Thomas and Steffy fess up. Ridge asks to speak with Taylor and Brooke alone and everyone leaves the beach house.
Outside, Stephanie tells Steffy she did the right thing and she hopes Ridge does as well.
Taylor understands why Steffy did what she did, but thinks Brooke’s messages wouldn’t have made a difference anyway because Ridge is committed to her and their family. Brooke asks Ridge if that’s true because she doesn’t believe it.
Jackie goes to Whip’s loft who has sushi and wine waiting. Jackie assumes Whip knew Owen was surfing when he called, but Whip denies it. They talk about how great the loft is and that Owen was the one to convince her to take it in the first place. Whip asks how they met and Jackie recounts their story. Jackie says Owen is the best thing that ever happened to her, noting she feels like a grande dame and beach girl all at the same time. Whip gets an idea off that, but Jackie wants to take a break from work for a moment and have a drink.
Thorne and Felicia tell Thomas they are proud of him and understand why he did what he did. Thomas worries it was all for nothing, now that Brooke is there.
Steffy apologizes to Marcus for what she did to his aunt, but he tells her she doesn’t have to be sorry for anything. He adds that he’s there for her.
Stephanie and Donna bicker about what happened, but Eric interjects that they will all let Ridge make his own decision. However, Stephanie won’t stand by and watch Brooke sabotage Ridge and Taylor’s happiness.
Brooke tries to get through to Ridge, but he hasn’t changed his mind about the situation. Brooke doesn’t think it’s too late to work on things and get through this. Taylor and Brooke exchange words and Brooke asks Ridge to take the time to think about this. She pleads with him to not marry Taylor just because he’s upset. Taylor counters that they belong together and he can’t have a normal marriage with Brooke. Brooke is convinced Ridge is still in love with her, but if he says he’s not, she will walk away because all she’s ever wanted is for him to be happy. She’s sorry she gave up on them and threw away everything they’ve meant to each other, but she realizes nothing is insurmountable. She thinks their love is stronger than anything they’ve ever faced. She asks him to tell her what he really wants and she will live with his decision.
Steffy and Thomas worry Ridge will come out and announce he’s with Brooke now. They wonder if they made things worse, but hope Ridge won’t hurt their mother like that.
Stephanie asks Donna if she knew Brooke was going to do this, but Donna says no one is getting pleasure out of this. Stephanie wants her to talk Brooke into leaving, but Donna thinks it’s all up to Brooke and Ridge right now. Stephanie says Taylor gives Ridge stability, which is something Brooke can’t. Donna says it’s up to Ridge to decide what and who he wants and she believes that will be Brooke.

Tuesday, August 04
After the wedding, Ridge goes home with Taylor, and Stephanie yells at Brooke, but Brooke remains optimistic.
Brooke tells Ridge if Taylor is really what he wants then she will jump back on her horse and ride off into the sunset. Ridge said she is making this more difficult then it has to be because he already said his vows. Brooke still doesn’t really think this is what he wants. Ridge apologizes to Taylor and she asks if their kids hadn’t gotten involved, would he still want to be with her? Taylor wants him to be one hundred percent committed and as much as she loves him, she won't do this today. She grabs his hand and takes off his wedding band and then does the same with hers.
Katie goes to Brooke’s house, but finds Bill instead. Donna calls her and tells her Brooke busted into the wedding on horseback and that Steffy was the one texting Brooke. Donna isn’t sure if Taylor and Ridge are actually married or what is going to happen. Donna tells her little sister to stay at Brooke’s because she might need someone when this is all over.
Steffy, Stephanie, Marcus, Thomas, Eric and Donna all debate whether or not Ridge and Taylor are actually married.
After Bill gets filled in on what happened at the wedding, he makes jokes, but Katie defends her sister. Bill notes it must be good to know someone loves you no matter what, referring to her bond with her sister. Bill assures her he won’t file the story and leaves.
Taylor comes outside and thanks everyone for coming, but tells them this is not going to happen. Ridge and Brooke come out as well, as she continues to explain the special meaning of their day has been ruined. Ridge takes the blame because he has two families that he loves very much and he didn’t have the conversations he needed to have before this day. He says there will be no wedding today, but nothing else has changed and he and Taylor will still be going home together. Brooke asks Ridge not to be upset because she had to do something. Ridge kisses her forehead and he, Taylor and the kids leave.
Brooke goes home and Katie is aghast at the sight of her. Katie tells her the kids went to Thorne’s for a sleepover with Ally and Brooke informs her sister Taylor and Ridge didn’t get married. She thinks Ridge just needs to heal and that Taylor doesn’t understand the situation. Despite Katie’s concerns, Brooke remains optimistic Ridge will return to her.
Back at the house, Ridge, Thorne, Steffy and Taylor eat some of the reception food and Steffy blames herself for what happened. Ridge and Taylor assure their kids its not their fault, but Steffy and Thomas apologize anyway. Ridge says he created the problem and thanks them all for being patient with him. He adds that because of their patience, he can afford to be patient with Brooke.
Stephanie bursts into Brooke’s house screaming at her for her selfishness. She calls her an adolescent and says men like to marry women, not little girls and Taylor gives Ridge peace and stability, which Brooke can’t do. Brooke calmly responds that she won’t fight with her because they will be in-laws again soon and will have plenty of time to argue. Stephanie thinks Brooke is losing her mind and urges her to be unselfish and let Ridge go. Brooke tells Stephanie she can’t control Ridge or her and declares Ridge will come back to her, but Stephanie says not if she can help it.
As Ridge wraps up all the left over food to take to a shelter, Taylor tells him if they are going to be together he has to want it one hundred percent and has to be ready without hesitation. She says he can still stay there, but in a different room of course and they can look at it as a rehearsal for how life will be for them.
Brooke calls Ridge and tells him she’s happy for another chance, which is how she looks at it since he didn’t marry Taylor. She is confident she will win him back and tells him she loves him and always will. She turns her phone like a walkie talkie and says, “Goodnight. Logan - over. But not out.”

Wednesday, August 05
Brooke returns to work, Katie has an idea for their next campaign and Whip and Jackie discuss their own ideas.
Whip looks at promotional photos of Jackie, as she enters the office. She says Nick is ready to make an announcement and they talk about the new campaign. He thinks together they can take the Indulge campaign over the top.
Eric tells Donna, Ridge, Marcus and Katie that Jackie M has surpassed Forrester in sales. Brooke comes to the office and tells everyone she is back and they have to stop looking backwards and look to the future to create something new and exciting. Everyone welcomes Brooke back, as Ridge remains silent. Brooke is happy to be at work and they discuss ideas to turn things around. Eric thinks it’ll be tough to compete with Jackie M’s Indulge campaign. Katie says they need something more sophisticated and to play on Forrester’s regal elegance. She thinks they can use their own backstory of three girls from the Valley living the dream. Eric loves it, but Ridge looks uneasy in the background.
The Jackie M team gathers in Nick’s office who tells them they are up in sales. Whip says Bill has helped as he has been a friend to them with all the publicity he’s given them. Nick says while that’s true, they’ve had to back up that publicity by having something to sell. He tells the team they are the number one fashion house in L.A. as they have trumped Forrester. Everyone celebrates, but Bridget looks concerned. Stephanie toasts to Bridget, their number one designer, and Bridget thanks everyone for all the hard work they’ve done. Jackie and Owen sneak out, as Whip takes note. Nick says from here on out, Jackie M will have a lot to say and tells Bridget how important she is to the company and to him.
Jackie and Owen go back to her office and kiss, but Whip walks in to use the computer. Owen thinks they need to get him an office and brings up the fact that Whip has moved into their building. Owen leaves for a meeting and Jackie asks Whip what else he has planned for her. Whip thinks they need to keep pushing the boundaries and shows her a layout he’s been working on. Jackie admires his work ethic, but she worries he’ll get burned out and she doesn't want to lose him because he's a valuable asset. They excitedly discuss ideas for the next photo shoot and then Jackie has to leave for a meeting, but not before stating they work well together. Jackie walks out the door and Whip says, “Yes we do.”
Nick thinks Bridget should be happy right now, but she worries about Forrester. Nick thinks Brooke will go back to FC and they will get back on their feet and be strong again. He says when that happens, they will be ready and the happy couple steam things up in the office.
Over at Forrester, ideas are bounced around and Ridge reminds them it will be expensive and that they are tapped right now. Brooke asks to talk to Ridge alone and everyone leaves. Brooke wonders why he’s such a wet blanket and he tells her they are getting ahead of themselves. Brooke wonders if he has a problem with the campaign or her. Ridge says Taylor might have a problem with this and Brooke understands why Taylor would be worried with them working together, but she thinks the Royalty campaign is a good idea. Ridge just doesn’t want to argue with her or Taylor and notes he’s supposed to be on his honeymoon, but he’s staying in the guest room. She thinks it will be alright and jokes about her coming to the wedding on a horse. She really thought he was going to be on the beach, but he had no idea. Brooke returned to FC because she needed to get her life back and she knows he’s staying at Taylor’s, but notices he’s not wearing his wedding ring and he didn’t elope, so she thinks it’s because she is still his Logan and he will always find her irresistible.
Eric, Marcus, Katie and Donna discuss the cost of the campaign and Katie suggests selling the company jet to cover the costs. Eric balks at first, but then tells Katie he’ll give her all the money she needs to oversee the campaign because he believes in her.

Thursday, August 06
Jackie M and Forrester Creations take very different approaches to their photo shoots.
Whip and Clarke discuss the Indulge campaign as they enter the photo shoot. Jackie is the beast mistress who must tame the beast. Owen walks in wearing his skivvies, a fur collar and fur cuffs wondering why he has to be the beast. Owen thinks Jackie looks amazing, but he feels silly. Jackie and Whip encourage Owen to go with it and he says he will do it for Jackie, but he wants photo approval. Whip agrees and they begin the shoot, which involves shots of Jackie dominating Owen.
Over at Forrester, Brooke, Katie and Donna prepare for their photo shoot. Ridge asks Brooke how she feels. She admits she’s a bit nervous but jokes around with goofy poses, which makes Ridge laugh.
At Taylor’s, Stephanie asks her friend how things are with Ridge. Taylor is remaining positive and thinks it’s a good sign he is staying at the house. Steffy walks in and says Brooke is back at Forrester. Stephanie instructs Taylor to come up with a strategy for how to handle that. Taylor isn’t concerned thinking she’s just trying to help the company, but Steffy tells them about the new Royalty campaign featuring the Logans. Stephanie is aghast since she is the one who created Forrester’s image.
Bridget, Katie and Donna pose for elegant photos as Ridge and Eric look on. On a break, Ridge tells Brooke they all looked beautiful and Brooke says she is Guinevere to his Lancelot. Ridge wonders if he is supposed to ride up on his horse and rescue her, but Brooke reminds him that’s her job.
After Steffy has left, Stephanie wonders why it bothers her what’s going on at Forrester. Taylor reminds her that it was her baby so it’s like one of her kids. Stephanie wonders what the Logans know about class and Taylor suggests she just look at it for what it is: a fake image. Taylor doesn't want her to get pulled into this, but Stephanie is galled that the Logans think they are doing the company a favor when they are the ones who destroyed it in the first place.
Pam asks Clarke if he ever did any modeling. He says no and Pam thinks he would look good in some fake fur, because she likes a hairy man. Clarke uncomfortably excuses himself and tells everyone Eric sold his jet to counteract the Indulge campaign. He fills them in on the details and Jackie and Whip debate FC’s campaign merits. Whip thinks Jackie M is capturing the public’s image far more than FC, but Jackie has learned to never underestimate the power of FC.
The Forrester photo shoot is wrapped and everyone is optimistic about reclaiming the top spot from Jackie M. Katie and Eric thank Brooke for coming back because they couldn’t have done it without her. Brooke is happy to be there, saying sometimes you don’t know what you got until it’s gone. She believes they can restore Forrester back to its greatness.
Steffy comes back to talk with her mother and hopes she’s not letting Brooke and Ridge working together get to her. Taylor’s not, but Steffy doesn’t want her to let her guard down either. Taylor reminds her daughter she’s been dealing with Brooke for years and knows what kind of games she plays. Taylor believes that in the end Ridge will realize he can’t live without them.
Owen leaves the shoot and Whip shows Jackie the shots. Whip thinks she has the ‘it’ factor and says the camera loves her and she loves it right back. Jackie looks from the photo to Whip with concern.
Everyone looks at the Forrester shots and are optimistic. Ridge suggests he and Eric get started on the designs and Eric agrees. He says it will be a whole new start for them and he and Ridge leave. Stephanie walks in and tells the Logan sisters their behavior is far from regal. Brooke doesn’t want to dwell on her opinions of them and says royalty is a state of mind and about women coming into their own. Brooke tells her they can be royalty and they are.

Friday, August 07
Whip has a new idea for a photo shoot, Stephanie and the Logans continue to fight, Brooke and Ridge flirt and Stephanie has the last laugh.
Stephanie continues to scoff at the Forrester Royalty campaign and bickers with the Logan sisters. Stephanie tells Katie her campaign won’t work because the public and customers know that the Logans are associated with scandal and trouble. She thinks they are trying to rewrite history by calling themselves the royalty of Forrester and people don’t like that. Donna wonders why Stephanie is even there and Stephanie says they need a new strategy because the name Forrester means her, Eric, Thorne, Felicia and Ridge. She thinks if they use this campaign they will be the laughing stock of the industry and it hurts and offends her. Brooke tells her she is stuck in the past, but they are forging forward and trying to bring FC out of the slump they are in and in the process, they will grind her and Jackie M into the ground.
At Jackie M, Owen and Jackie canoodle in the office and then Owen tells her he feels like the success of Whip’s campaign is at his expense. Jackie tries to butter him up, but Owen doesn’t feel like Whip respects their relationship. Jackie tells him the image being creating is that of him as the envy of every man on the planet and she wants him to feel that way. The start to kiss, but Whip comes in telling Jackie there is one more photo setup.
Ridge looks at the shots of Brooke from the photo shoot and recalls some moments from their past. Taylor comes to the office and says he knows Brooke is back. It doesn’t surprise her and she thinks she did it to keep an eye on him. Taylor sees the photos of Brooke and they discuss the concept of the campaign. Taylor is disdainful and he asks if she is uncomfortable with it. Taylor won’t forbid him from working with Brooke and will marry him when he is sure he only wants her. Ridge says she never ceases to amaze him.
Owen is tired of the cougar theme, but Whip thinks it hip and in. Jackie is on board and Whip brings in a real cougar to join Jackie in the shoot.
Ridge comes to the office and after Stephanie tells the girls the company will be dead within a year, they go out into the hall. Stephanie tells her son part of her heart will always be with the company and it hurts her to watch it fall apart. She says the company was to be for him and his siblings, but she guesses you don’t always get what you want.
Donna is back in her royalty outfit because they need more shots. She runs into Marcus who is coming off the elevator and he tells her she is the new Queen of Forrester and she wears it well. Stephanie overhears them and she and Donna snipe at each other. Stephanie gets on the elevator and purposely steps on Donna’s train. As the elevator doors close, it rips Donna’s dress off her.
Ridge and Brooke discuss if she is a queen or princess and they engage in playful banter about her being the latter. She tells him she is his crazy Logan who he can’t live without.
Jackie nervously models next to the cougar, as Whip tries to get some feeling out of her. Whip opens a bottle of champagne and the pop of the cork sets the cougar off. Everyone runs out of the room, but Jackie gets stuck inside with the animal. Owen and Whip desperately try to open the locked door, as Jackie presses against the window yelling for help and the cougar scratches the glass.

Monday, August 10
Jackie is saved and Owen counts his blessings, Katie asks for a favor from Bill, Stephanie is paid a visit and Whip seeks out Bill’s assistance.
Stephanie’s friend Dorothy comes by to ask a favor. She has a fundraiser coming up and wonders if Stephanie would be interested in participating in a fashion challenge between Jackie M and Forrester Creations.
Katie goes to Bill’s office who bemoans that he can’t find one photo of Ridge and Taylor’s non-wedding. They discuss the wedding for a bit and then she brings up her Royalty campaign. She gives him the proofs and he notes she looks beautiful. She would like to buy add space in his magazines and TV shows, but she doesn’t want to be placed next to an article trashing them or promoting Jackie M. She wants him to be objective and give FC a fair shake. He says that’s not his reputation, but she has faith he will come through for her. Katie leaves and Bill looks at the photos of her from the Royalty shoot.
Whip and Owen frantically work to save Jackie from the cougar. Once safe, Nick comes to see his mother and lashes out at Whip, who feels awful. The animal trainer apologizes as well, but Jackie says she is fine and it makes for a great story. The trainer thinks the animal wasn’t trying to hurt her and suggests he might have been attracted to her perfume.
Whip runs into Stephanie's office to tell her about the cougar attack and she introduces him to Dorothy. As Dorothy explains her idea to Whip, Stephanie and Whip exchange looks indicating Stephanie doesn’t want to do it, but Whip does. Stephanie ultimately declines. Dorothy leaves her some mock up invitations she had printed in case she agreed and Whip secretly swipes one.
As Owen comforts Jackie, Nick looks at the photos from the shoot and thinks they are over the top. He’s happy they are working, but it’s weird for him. He leaves and Owen tells Jackie he was afraid he was going to lose her. Jackie admits she was scared and Owen thinks a little TLC is in order and they start to kiss.
Whip goes to Bill’s office and shows him the mock up fashion challenge invitation and says he needs Bill’s help to make it happen. Whip thinks they both want to see the demise of FC and since Stephanie doesn’t want to publicly face off with FC, maybe Bill could publish the invitation as a done deal, which might force Eric and Stephanie to agree to it. Bill thinks this could sound their death knell.
Stephanie looks at the mock up invitation and thinks she was right to pass on it.
At the office, Katie thinks about Bill and believes he will come through for her.
Owen tells Jackie when the cougar attacked her, he realized that her life mattered more than his own. He tells her she is his life and when she’s not around there is a huge void. He’s never experienced anything like it and he doesn’t care what they are doing, if it’s with her it will be exciting. She makes life worth living and with her by his side he is the luckiest man alive. She responds that she is the luckiest woman.

Tuesday, August 11
Eric and Stephanie agree to the fashion challenge, and Bill makes sure it goes his way, while Katie trusts he would never hurt her.
Dorothy comes to Stephanie, thrilled that she changed her mind about the fashion challenge. Nick and Bridget come in asking what’s going on, but Stephanie says she didn’t change her mind. Stephanie introduces the Marones to Dorothy and tells them about the charity and her idea about the fashion challenge, which she turned down. Stephanie, Nick and Bridget want to back out, but Dorothy says there’s already a lot of publicity about it.
Eric sees the fashion challenge announcement on the Internet, as Ridge looks over his shoulder and Katie and Brooke run in wondering what’s going on. Ridge thinks there must be an explanation and Brooke thinks Stephanie is forcing their hand.
Whip enters Bill’s office, pleased that word about the fashion challenge spread. Bill says he has both Stephanie and Eric where he wants them. Whip asks Bill to keep his involvement under warps and Bill assures him he need not worry. Whip doesn’t understand why Stephanie would resist this challenge in the first place and Bill says she has a soft spot for FC.
Eric calls Stephanie, who explains she doesn’t know how word got out to the press. Eric wants her to make it go away, but she doesn't think it will be that easy. Dorothy gets on the phone and encourages him to agree to the challenge. Eric invites them to come to the office so they can discuss it.
Bridget, Stephanie and Dottie come to Forrester and discuss how this event could have been leaked to the press with Brooke, Ridge, Katie and Eric. Dottie says the event will help a lot of kids and there’s no way to stop the press on it. After more discussion, both sides agree to the challenge.
Jarrett comes to Bill’s office who wants him to take care of something regarding the judges for the challenge. He says each one of them needs him or owes him.
Bridget talks to Eric alone and he tells her what she’s accomplished at Jackie M is masterful. She says if she is any good, it’s because she learned from the best. Eric encourages her not to hold back at the challenge because he’s her old man and she admits she doesn’t want to go up against him because she’s intimidated. Eric says he’ll take advantage of that, but before she leaves Bridget says, “Quite honestly, I’m not that scared to go up against you.”
Ridge and Brooke go over some things for the competition and Brooke gets flirty. Ridge tells her to focus, but she reminds him they didn’t let anything get in their way of creating their past lines and they did mix business with pleasure. He thinks she’s distracting herself, but she thinks maybe she’s distracting him. However, she doesn’t want to do that so she gets back to work.
Stephanie returns to talk to Eric and they decide they can’t back out of the challenge now. They both wish each other luck and Eric says they will finally know who is the best fashion house. Stephanie points to herself.
Katie pays a subdued Bill a visit, who doesn’t let on he is the one who leaked the fashion competition. Katie thinks they will win, but Bill says he thinks Jackie M will win because they have the momentum. She thinks things can turn around and uses them as an example, saying every one is afraid of him, but she doesn’t feel that fear. She can’t imagine him hurting her and he says he would never want to do that. She thinks this is his chance to prove it by covering the challenge impartially and not being tempted to use his baser instincts. He doesn’t want to do that and assumes she would never fall to temptation. She says even the best of them give in to temptation and he asks if she is tempted right now because he is. Katie thinks he hates to admit that and he agrees because he's never felt this way before. He snaps out of it and gets back to work and Katie leaves.
Whip and Stephanie meet up at Jackie M and she accuses him of leaking the fashion competition to the press. He thinks they will take FC down and she says they better and that that PR will be key. Whip vows to not let her down and she says he better not.
Brooke and Ridge discuss the competition and Brooke continues to be goofy and flirt with him. She plants a smooch on him and then orders him back to work.
Jarrett makes a phone call saying Bill's limo will pick all three judges up and drop them off at the airport where his private jet will take them to L.A. He tells the judge he is talking to that Bill would like to keep this confidential.
Jarrett returns to Bill’s office and passes Katie who is on the way out. Jarrett smirks and says he’s never seen Bill look at anyone with tenderness the way he was looking at Katie. He can’t understand why he would be so ruthless around a woman he cares for and wonders if he can betray her. Bill says it’s about business – nothing personal.

Wednesday, August 12
Jarrett does Bill’s dirty work, Katie tries to get through to Bill and Brooke reassures Ridge, while Nick does the same for Bridget.
Katie walks into Bill’s office with an invitation to the fashion competition and finds him with a candlelit table. He pours her a glass of wine and they sit down to eat. Katie tells him nothing is more important to her right now than winning the challenge. She asks him to be impartial and he says it’s not up to him, but the judges. Katie just wants him to let things happen the way they are supposed to and for him to write a fair, honest review of their collection. Bill is agreeable and she can’t wait for him to see their collection. Katie brings up how lonely he is and that he has no friends or doesn’t know his employees. Bill is fine with the way his life is, but Katie thinks he won’t be happy if he is purely motivated by money. She thinks he has way too much going on in his heart, but he says she overestimates him. Katie doesn’t think so and shares that she wouldn’t trade her family for all the money in the world. Bill thinks you have to do what’s best for the company no matter what you feel. Katie assumes he learned that from his father and they discuss Bill, Sr. Katie tells him the end of his story hasn’t been written yet so it’s not too late to change it, but Bill thinks it is. Bill tells her no matter what happens at the competition, he will still want FC. Katie is upset and tells him if he cares about her even a little bit, he wouldn’t be so determined to get FC at any cost. Bill says he does care about her, but is then interrupted by a phone call.
Jarrett meets with the fashion competition celebrity judges, Rich Ginger, Sergei and Melissa Rivers on Bill’s jet. Melissa and Rich assume Bill is up to something, but Sergei just wants to indulge in caviar. Jarrett tells them Bill would be grateful if Jackie M won the challenge. The judges are offended and Jarrett apologizes, but goes on to tell them what Bill was going to offer them: Melissa would get her own column in Eye on Fashion, Rich would get Bill’s yacht for a couple of weeks and Bill would buy out Sergei's entire annual charity event. The judges are affected and Rich says, “Here’s to Jackie M. Anchors Away!” Sergei and Melissa jump on board, as Jarrett downs a glass of champagne and looks troubled.
Jarrett calls Bill and tells him the judges have agreed to his terms and Jackie M is a lock. Jarrett learns Katie is with Bill and implores him to think about what this will do to her. He wonders if he can be the guy who turns Katie’s career to ashes and throw away the one woman who has ever really cared about him.
Bridget second-guesses herself in Nick’s office regarding going up against her father at the competition. Nick assures his wife her designs are incredible.
Brooke and Donna look over designs for the competition and note Katie is with Bill Spencer. Ridge comes in and they discuss how Bill might affect them even though he is not a judge. Brooke is confident they will win.
Nick massages Bridget’s hands so they can keep her creative juices flowing. Bridget has a better idea and kisses him.
As Ridge frets about the competition and Bill, Brooke tells him she and her sisters have come up with a concept that will bring the house down because when Logan women unite, they are unstoppable. Ridge continues to worry about the state of the company and Brooke reminds him they have been on the brink before, but that’s when they thrive. She assures him the Logans will pull through for him and says there is nothing Bill Spencer can do to mess this up for them.

Thursday, August 13
The fashion challenge gets underway, as Jarrett spills the beans to Katie.
Stephanie comes backstage to wish Ridge and Eric good luck. Dottie joins them and thanks them for participating in the challenge. They all agree it will be a great night full of surprises.
Jarrett flags Bill over at the challenge and begs him to reconsider fixing the outcome. Melissa, Rich and Sergei walk in as Jarrett appeals to Bill’s affections for Katie. Katie walks over and Jarrett leaves. Bill tells her she looks beautiful and no one will outshine her tonight. That’s the outcome she’s looking for from the judges.
Donna wishes Stephanie luck, who thinks she might need some of that luck herself.
Bridget feels weird competing against her parents, but she, Eric and Brooke are all excited and wish each other success.
Dottie comes out on the catwalk to introduce the fashion showdown and the judges.
Forrester is up first and Brooke, Katie and Donna walk out to introduce their Royalty line and the models hit the runway. Bridget, Jackie and Nick note how good the designs are, as Owen overhears Taylor tell Thomas how impressed she is. Sergei is impressed as well, but Bill gives him a look to tone down his enthusiasm. Stephanie assures Jackie that while Forrester is good, their designs are better. Brooke, Donna and Katie come out dressed like royalty and throw off their capes to the crowd. They regally pose and strut their stuff along the runway. Katie gives Bill a glance as she poses and he looks affected.
Backstage, the Forrester crew celebrates, believing they nailed it, while the Jackie M crew thinks they can top them.
Marcus comes out to sit with Thomas, Taylor and Steffy and says everyone is happy backstage and thinks the audience loved them. Thomas notes the judges didn’t seem impressed, but Marcus says Eric didn’t seem worried at all.
Jackie comes out on the runway to introduce the Indulge line. The Jackie M models hit the catwalk, as Jarrett frets in the corner and then walks out.
Jarrett goes backstage to congratulate Katie on the campaign and says he might lose his job telling her this, but he can’t let her and Eric’s hard work go to waste. He tells her Bill paid off the judges and Katie is crushed. Jarrett walks out as Bill comes in. She asks Bill if it’s true, believing he would never do this to her. Bill says it would never be his intention to hurt her. Upset, she says she thought they were getting close and demands to know if he bribed the judges.
The judges discuss how much they love the Jackie M line, as Jarrett scowls at them. The Forrester Creations crew note the judges didn’t get this excited for them and that this challenge could have serious consequences for them.

Friday, August 14
The judges make their decision, Katie is grateful and Ridge is forced to make a decision.
Jackie M’s fashions continue to impress the crowd, while Bill explains to Katie that everything going on is about business and not about them. Katie thinks she was fooling herself when she thought Bill was actually letting her in. She tells him he could have had something so much better than Forrester: someone who had real feelings for him and believed the best in him.
Katie goes back to watch the show, as Bill follows. Owen comes out on the catwalk in leather pants, no shirt and the word Indulge written on his chest. Jackie follows in a dominatrix outfit and they play it up for the crowd. Jackie says, “Jackie M. Indulge. I do.” The crowd goes wild.
The Jackie M team celebrates backstage and congratulates each other on a job well done.
A distraught Katie sits down with Brooke and Donna and they discuss Jackie M’s designs. Eric and Ridge join them, as Katie and Bill exchange angst filled glances.
Dottie gets on the catwalk and thanks both fashion houses for participating and hands it over the judges. Sergei votes for Jackie M, Melissa Rivers votes for Forrester and Rich votes for Forrester, much to Katie and Jarrett’s shock and relief. Eric gets on stage and graciously accepts the win. Ridge also thanks everyone at FC, especially Katie for coming up with the Royalty concept. They invite her to come on stage and she talks up Forrester regaining their place in the fashion world and thanks a handsome prince for doing the noble thing.
Afterwards, Ridge thanks Brooke for everything and they hug, as Taylor notices.
As Katie goes backstage to change with her sisters, Jarrett tells Bill he thinks decency and romance won out this evening and what could be more beautiful? Bill responds, “How about I let you keep your job?”
Bill tells Eric and Ridge that Jarrett will write a glowing review. Bridget and Stephanie come up to congratulate Forrester Creations, and Rick asks Bill why he is backing off. Bill says Katie and their Royalty campaign changed his mind.
Backstage, Donna and Brooke question Katie about the handsome prince she was talking about as they get changed, but Katie dodges the question.
Bill runs into Whip, who is surprised the judges picked Forrester and asks if he knows what happened. Bill says a beautiful young lady who has a way of affecting people’s lives happened. He says, “Better luck next time,” and walks away.
Donna tells Stephanie she is a gracious loser and Stephanie retorts that their success is due to Ridge and Eric’s designs, not the idea that the Logan girls are royalty. Donna says tonight was a success for Brooke and Ridge as well.
Brooke and Ridge discuss how important their win was and Brooke tells him she wants him to come home with her. Taylor walks in and says Ridge is going home with her. Ridge tells both women they are amazing, but there is only one decision he can make.
Jarrett toasts the Forresters and their well-deserved victory. They want to know why Bill has done a complete turnaround and Jarrett tells them he thinks, “The dark prince has found his heart all because of the fair Katie Logan.”
Katie and Bill run into each other and Bill says his plan was ruined all because of her and he kisses her.

Monday, August 17
Ridge brings James in for assistance, Bill lays it all on the line for Katie and Owen prepares for an interview.
Brooke and Taylor want to know Ridge’s decision, but he tells them he is not the one to make the next move. Reporters come in wanting his reaction to being back on top and Ridge asks the ladies to meet him in his office.
Katie and Bill have dinner where they first met. Bill tells her he went against his own principles by letting Forrester win the competition because he found something he wanted more than the company, whether it made sense or whether he deserved it or not. Katie notes something big happened and they have to figure out what to do next. Bill wonders how temporary her feelings are for him and muses on how good he has to be. Katie doesn’t have to tell him what to do to be decent because he already knows. Bill wonders why she likes him and what the new rules are. Does he have to keep throwing away multi-million dollar deals in order for her to keep looking at him that way? Katie tells him he doesn’t have to change, he just needs to look at the person hiding inside himself. Bill warns her he is not a good person, but Katie believes she sees something in him. Bill tells her when he wants something he wants it in his name: money, property, Forrester. However, he wants her in a different way because she might be a doorway to someplace he’s never been. He knows she will hurt him because he will go about it all wrong and he will eventually lose her. Knowing that, he needs her, and he’s never needed anybody. He gets up from the table, walks over to her and kisses her.
The Jackie M team goes back to the office, upset they lost the challenge. Owen learns of an interview Whip set up in his hometown of San Diego, but he isn’t comfortable being on camera. He doesn’t want to go alone and wants some back up, but no one can go except for Pam and Clarke. Clarke offers to drive and Owen reluctantly agrees.
Ridge meets Taylor and Brooke in Eric’s office and tells them that he wants them to go to therapy together with James. Brooke and Taylor think it’s crazy and will never work.
James meets with Ridge, Taylor and Brooke who tells them that the women are ground zero for Ridge’s dysfunction. The women bicker and James intervenes saying they are making his case for him. James thinks Brooke and Taylor should be isolated with him at Big Bear so they will gain a deeper appreciation for each other. He suggests this will help their families and love for Ridge and Ridge begs them to do it saying they all need this. The women agree and James promises their years of conflict will disappear by the end of their treatment.
Alone in Nick’s office, Nick tries to bolster Bridget’s low spirits and confidence. Bridget doesn’t think she even deserved to win against Eric anyway and thinks that people get what they earned. Nick tells her he loves her and their life and suggests they go home.
Whip comes to talk to Jackie, upset with Owen’s take on the interview and Jackie thinks Whip needs to give him a break. Whip doesn’t know who he likes better, the woman she really is or the one who was on stage that night. Whip thinks they should have won the competition and marvels at how great she was. He says she can do and have anything.

Tuesday, August 18
James begins his therapy session with Brooke and Taylor, while Owen leaves for San Diego.
James, Brooke and Taylor go to the Big Bear cabin and the doctor demands their cell phones so they have no contact with the outside world. He instructs them to get over their anger in order to find peace. He will use various couples counseling techniques and is confident they will succeed in laying their hostility to rest.
Owen packs his bag for San Diego and tells Jackie he’s nervous about the interview. Jackie thinks he’ll charm the pants off them, but he’s worried he’ll say something to embarrass her. Jackie has confidence in him and they give each other a sensual goodbye.
James talks Brooke and Taylor through meditation using burning sage, but it makes the women cough. Brooke thinks James is wasting his time, but James remains optimistic. He tells them they’ve given each other so much pain over the years, it’s time they learned to give each other pleasure.
At home, Whip looks at photo stills of Jackie and Owen’s shoot that he has pinned up on a board.
After their romp, Owen tells Jackie he wants to make her proud and that he loves her. He’ll never hurt her and never let her down. Jackie knows this and trusts him with all her heart.
James, Taylor and Brooke discuss the root of their animosity and where all the negativity started. For Brooke it started with the first time Taylor married Ridge. The women bicker and then James suggests Taylor do something nice for Brooke by giving her a massage.
Clarke comes to pick Owen up and waits in the hall as Jackie tells Owen he has all of her and she truly loves him. Clarke knocks on the door and Owen rushes out telling Jackie he loves her too. Owen tells Clarke he needs one minute and he’ll meet him in the car.
Owen goes upstairs to tell Whip he doesn’t want him going downstairs to visit his wife while he’s gone.
Neither Taylor nor Brooke wants to participate in the massage, but James says it’s what Ridge wants and they agree to it. Brooke gets on the table and baits Taylor while she tentatively massages her nemesis. James is encouraged, but then Brooke laughs about the wedding and the minister pronouncing Taylor and Ridge man and horse. Brooke is amused, but Taylor puts her in a chokehold, which James breaks up. He tells the women they have had a minor setback but they will become friends even if it kills him.
Whip goes outside on his balcony and sees an open door that he isn’t aware leads to Jackie’s place. He scares Jackie by coming into her loft and after apologizing they talk about Owen and their flirtation. Whip tells her she is incredible and beautiful. Jackie thinks he is charming and she enjoys his company, but she won’t betray her husband.
After Whip leaves, Jackie feels lonely without her husband and wants him to hurry home.
Someone looks at photos of Jackie and Owen from their shoot and stabs a knife in one of them.

Wednesday, August 19
Owen’s interview begins, as Brooke and Taylor take a mud bath together.
The person who stabbed the photo of Jackie and Owen cuts it down the middle.
Owen calls Jackie from the set of the interview. She assures him she will be watching and Owen has to go.
Ridge tells Steffy about Brooke and Taylor going to Big Bear with James. Steffy wonders what he was hoping for and he explains both his families need to get along. Steffy asks him what he wants and Ridge says he needs some peace in his life before he can answer that. Steffy tells him he is a great father and she wants him to be happy.
At the cabin, James serves the women some breakfast, but neither one is very hungry. James tells them he had some mud from the Dead Sea delivered.
Whip comes into Jackie’s office who tells him she had trouble falling asleep last night because she hasn’t spent a night without Owen in months and she missed him. Whip mentions Owen’s interview and she tells him Owen is nervous. Whip hopes he comes through for them and Jackie assures him her husband will be fine.
James prepares the mud telling the ladies it has healing properties. Taylor has reservations about getting in it, but Brooke is ready for it until James tells them they are getting in the tub together.
Bridget and Nick come in the office and Jackie tells them the interview is ready to start. They wonder what the interview is about and Jackie says they need to do something after losing the fashion challenge. She says Indulge is about fantasy and once Owen talks about their marriage he will deliver it in spades, which will in turn sell clothes because they are every woman’s greatest romantic fantasy. Nick wonders if she’s prepared for Owen to talk about their marriage, but Jackie is sure he will remain discrete and that she and Owen are the epicenter of their campaign.
Brooke and Taylor sit in the mud and James asks how they are doing. The women respond that this method isn’t working. James tells them they are avoiding each other because they aren’t making eye contact. He instructs them to do so and caress each other’s soul. Taylor stares at Brooke, who looks away until Taylor accuses her of having too much guilt to look at her. The women intently stare at each other as James instructs them to look deep into each other’s eyes and souls and maybe they will find forgiveness. He says there is no anger or animosity, only forgiveness and maybe sadness for past hurts. Instead of understating each other, they start flinging mud at each other and eventually James, much to his frustration.
Clarke and the stage manager frantically look for Owen who is missing. He finally comes to the set and sits down for the interview.
Owen’s interview gets underway, as Ridge and Steffy watch on TV. Ridge asks her what she thinks of Owen. Steffy believes he’s a good guy who has a good heart. Ridge can’t believe he’s married to Jackie and Steffy says based on what she hears, they are in love. As Owen discusses Jackie M, Ridge turns off the TV and they head out to lunch.
Jackie, Whip, Nick and Bridget watch as Owen talks up the team at Jackie M. The interviewer asks about his wife and points out she is significantly older than him. Owen smugly responds that his marriage is complex and unique and that the truth would blow her mind. The interviewer presses him, as Nick, Bridget and Whip wonder why he is acting so strangely. Jackie appears concerned as Owen says everyone thinks they are this happy couple, but looks can be deceiving. He looks straight into the camera and says he will say something shocking - something nobody knows, not even his wife.

Thursday, August 20
Whip comforts a devastated Jackie after Owen’s interview, while Taylor and Brooke find some common ground.
Jackie, Nick, Bridget and Whip watch as a cocky Owen tells the interviewer that his marriage is a ruse and thanks the customers for buying into it. The host is stunned that the marriage was a publicity stunt. Owen looks in the camera and says, “Surprise Jackie. I had you fooled, didn’t I?” He says Jackie was his cougar fantasy woman and that she got punked.
A furious Nick turns off the TV as a devastated Jackie stares at it. Whip assures Jackie Owen had them all fooled and Jackie leaves to go home and wait for her husband.
After the interview, a confused Clarke wonders what Owen was thinking, but Owen just walks away with a smile.
Ridge calls James at the cabin needing to know how things are going. James says it isn’t going as anticipated, but he won’t give up and is preparing a new technique.
Brooke and Taylor bicker over Ridge when James comes in wanting to get back to work. He gives the ladies padded tools to swat each other with if, as they try and resolve old conflicts, one of them crosses the line, but only as a last resort. The women bring up moments from the past and start beating each other up with the padded tools, as Ridge comes in. James is frustrated and says he can’t get anywhere with these women and his work is done. James leaves the room, as Ridge wonders why it’s so difficult for them to look beyond their rivalry so they can all live in peace. Ridge thinks somewhere deep inside they must respect each other. Taylor admits Brooke was there for her regarding Jack, but Brooke remains silent. Ridge recalls times when Taylor helped Rick when he was having problems as a child. Brooke thanks Taylor for that and Taylor is aware of how Brooke helped her kids in the past. Brooke admires Taylor for how she handled Phoebe's death with grace and dignity and isn’t sure she could do the same thing. Ridge is sure Taylor would be there for her if Brooke were to lose a child. He says they are a family forever bound by their children and history. James returns with a bottle of booze and they tell him they are starting to have a breakthrough and are working through their differences. James asks them to prove it by hugging and the women do. Brooke tells Taylor she is sorry for everything she’s done to hurt her and Taylor reciprocates. Brooke says it doesn't mean it won’t happen again and Taylor points out it keeps life interesting.
Jackie comes to Whip’s loft drinking the bottle of champagne she bought for her and Owen to celebrate his TV debut. Whip calls Owen a fool, but Jackie thinks she is the fool, wondering how she could have been so wrong about him. Whip tells her Owen is the one who screwed up because he made the biggest mistake of his life. Owen calls and tells Jackie he can explain, but Jackie doesn’t want him to come anywhere near her. After she hangs up, Whip tells her to put Owen out of her mind, but Jackie isn’t sure how to do that. As Jackie gets more upset, Whip kisses her and promises to get her through this. He says she is better than Owen, who doesn’t even deserve her. He kisses her again and Jackie responds.
A desperate Owen leaves a message on Jackie’s phone saying he can explain everything and that he has to make her understand what happened.

Friday, August 21
Owen explains what happened in the interview, Jackie feels guilty and Donna tests Bill for Katie’s sake.
Donna lets Katie use the pool for a late night swim with Bill, but is concerned her sister is falling for him. Katie thinks there is another person under the cutthroat business tycoon. Donna isn’t sold and thinks they should test him. She thinks two minutes with her and Bill will show his true colors. They hear Bill coming and Katie runs to hide in the bushes. Bill comes to the pool fully dressed and Donna puts on the charm. Bill is leery and doesn’t bite. He goes to change and Katie comes out laughing, Donna thinks Bill was totally flirting with her and is determined to prove that Katie is too good for him.
Owen returns home and Jackie lashes out at him. Owen tells her everything she saw on TV isn’t true because he is committed to her and their marriage. Jackie doesn’t want to hear it, so Owen shows her instead by introducing her to his twin brother Casper. It’s explained it was all a prank to get back at Owen for living the high life in L.A. Owen says someone he thought was with the TV station put him in a limo and drove him around all day, while Casper pretended to be him. Owen instructs Casper to wait outside and tells him he is putting his butt on the first bus back to San Diego. After Casper leaves, Owen apologizes and Jackie is relieved to learn it wasn’t him in the interview.
Jackie runs upstairs to Whip’s to tell him what’s going on and says she is upset that she kissed him. He reminds her it didn’t go any further, but Jackie says it was wrong and shouldn’t have happened. She wonders how she will explain it to her husband and Whip says, “Who says you have to?”
Bill comes back after changing and Donna continues to throw herself at him. Bill tells Donna his behavior towards her before was inappropriate. He’s not a totally changed man, but because of Katie, he’s trying to be a better one. Katie comes out hoping Donna’s little test didn’t offend him. Bill understands Donna was just being protective, but painfully obvious. Bill can’t blame Donna for thinking he is wrong for her sister, but he wants to prove otherwise.
Whip returns to the loft minus Casper and tells his wife he wishes he would have gotten to her sooner to explain what happened. Jackie tells him not to blame himself and starts to explain that she was drinking to dull the pain. She beats herself up for doubting him, but he just wants to put the whole thing behind them. He tells her he loves her and Jackie reciprocates, but regretfully thinks about kissing Whip.
Alone, Katie and Bill laugh about Donna’s test and then he pulls out the next issue of Eye on Fashion. He shows her an article about her that details how she was instrumental in bringing FC back from the brink with her Royalty line. She reads the glowing comments about her and Katie assumes Jarrett wrote it. Bill informs her he was the one to write it because he was inspired, but he doesn’t understand why she doesn’t turn and run in the opposite direction. Katie says she isn’t going anywhere and they engage in a steamy kiss.

Monday, August 24
Jackie worries about telling Owen about the kiss, another photo shoot gets underway and Bill defends himself to Brooke and Eric.
Owen comes downstairs and tells his wife last night was just what they needed to reconnect and get past the whole Casper misunderstanding. Owen tells Jackie he asked Whip to set up a live interview to set the record straight so everyone knows how he really feels about his wife.
Brooke, Donna and Katie stand around in bikinis waiting for their cover shoot for Eye on Fashion. Brooke is surprised by Bill’s sudden support of FC and Donna fills her sister in on Katie and Bill’s crush. Brooke doesn't want Katie to get hurt, but Katie thinks there’s another side to him they haven’t seen. Eric comes out dressed in a king’s robe and crown for the shoot.
Nick and Bridget discuss Owen’s interview and Clarke beeps in to tell them to turn on the TV. Nick does so and Jarrett’s on recapping the recent events and wondering if Jackie M can survive the latest scandal. Bridget feels bad for Jackie and Nick says if Owen shows his face, he’ll damage it!
The photo shoot gets underway, with Eric as the king in the middle of Donna, Katie and Brooke.
Jackie comes to the office and finds Whip there. He apologizes saying all he was trying to do was comfort her, not make things more complicated. Jackie assures him it’s not his fault, but she needs to keep her distance from him. She tells him to take a paid leave of absence because she doesn't want him around when she tells Owen about their kiss.
Katie, Donna and Brooke pose together without Eric and Bill comes to the set. Katie gets distracted by him, as they exchange flirtatious glances. Bill stands by Eric who questions his motivation for his sudden support of FC. Bill says he wants to make amends and his focus has shifted to something more meaningful than any company, including his.
Nick sees Owen pass by in the hall at Jackie M and physically pulls him into the office. Jackie comes in to break it up and explains everything to Nick. Whip comes to the door and says he needs Owen for an interview. Owen leaves and Nick demands an explanation from his mother. Jackie again tells him the details but then asks for his help with something. She tells him about her kiss with Whip and asks if Nick thinks Owen can forgive her.
After the photo shoot is over, Bill tells Eric he hasn’t exactly been unbiased in his reporting of FC, but from now on he will give them a fair shake. Eric wonders where this is coming from and Donna interrupts saying maybe Katie should fill him in. Katie walks up and kisses Bill in front of a stunned Eric.
Jarrett interviews Owen as Whip, Jackie and Nick watch. Owen explains everything about his twin brother and gives Jarrett photos of the two of them, as well as Casper’s birth certificate. Owen brings Jackie on camera and goes into detail about how great their relationship is, how there is nothing she can do to make him want to leave her side and that their union is based on honesty.
Brooke tells Bill she doesn't trust him and wonders what’s with his nice guy routine. Bill explains Katie’s had quite an impact on him. Brooke warns him not to take advantage of her and Bill says he knows how special she is and would never want to do anything to hurt her. Katie walks up to them and Bill tells her what he was saying to Brooke. He continues to say that Katie has brought things to his life he hasn’t experienced before and she is good for him. Brooke notes he seems sincere and hopes he is. She tells him she and Donna will be keeping a close eye on him. Brooke leaves to change and Katie thanks Bill for telling her sister how he feels. Bill suggests going somewhere they can be alone and Katie tells him she has a surprise for him.
After Jarrett leaves, Owen thanks Whip for setting up the interview. He feels good about putting the truth out there about his marriage to Jackie.
Nick wonders if Whip took advantage of Jackie because she was vulnerable. She doesn’t think so, but what happened is tearing her apart because she loves and respects her husband. Nick leaves, as Owen comes back to the office.
Jackie and Owen discuss the interview and their future. Jackie says there’s something she needs to tell him. She says when life blindsides you, sometimes there’s a silver lining and hers is that she’s realized how blessed she is to have him in her life. Owen thinks he is the lucky one and Jackie hopes he feels that way after she tells him what she has to say.

Tuesday, August 25
Bill anticipates big things for him and Katie, while Jackie confesses to Owen.
Jackie sets up a romantic Hawaiian setting for Owen when he comes home. He thinks she’s trying to tell him she wants to go back to Hawaii and he’s all for it, but Jackie has something to tell him first. Jackie talks about how they started out and now they are so much more. She thinks they are an unlikely pair, but it works. Owen says nothing will ever change that and Jackie is happy he feels that way.
Katie surprises Bill with a Whac-a-Mole machine in his office for him to channel his desire to insult someone or take over a company into. As Bill humors her by trying it out, he tells her he did something to the office as well. She finds a picture of the two of them framed on his desk. He asks if she likes it and she does. Bill says, "So do I.”
Whip comes to Nick’s office on his way out and Nick insinuates he knows about him and Jackie. Whip tries to explain he was just trying to comfort her. He says he cares about her, but unfortunately for him, she is in love with Owen. Nick is annoyed that even though he doesn’t like Owen, he’s starting to see how much he loves Jackie. Nick tells Whip Jackie’s married so he doesn’t want anymore drama and hopes Jackie can hold on to the happiness she found. Whip thinks she will ruin everything by telling Owen the truth and he doesn't think her confessing will accomplish anything. He just doesn’t want her to be hurt.
Bill’s assistant, Hilary, comes in his office with files and contracts for tomorrow. She walks over to put them on his desk and drops her cup of coffee. She panics, but Bill says he will have it cleaned and it’s no big deal. He thinks she should go home to be with her family and tells her to take the day off tomorrow to watch her daughter’s soccer game. Hillary says she has a lot of work to do, but Bill appreciates her hard work and says she deserves a day off. Hillary leaves and Katie is impressed that Bill took the time to learn something about his employees. Bill says Hillary will now just work harder for him, but Katie thinks he’s changing and she likes the new Bill Spencer a lot. Bill thinks she likes seeing something no one has seen before in him. She jokingly says, “A heart?” Katie enjoys watching him fumble around trying to figure out how to use his newfound heart. She has some experience with that and they talk about her transplant. Bill says it’s the scars that make them who they are. Bill notes having her brother’s heart is a tremendous responsibility and Katie tells him her sisters never got that. Bill wants to help her figure out the special thing she feels obligated to do with her life because he believes she was brought back for great things. Katie really wants to do something significant and thinks there has to be some purpose to her being there instead of Storm. Bill wants to help her find it and wants to be with her when she figures it out. Katie can’t believe he understands because most people don’t get that her receiving Storm’s heart is just the beginning. Bill puts his hand over her heart and says, “Storm’s heart is strong. I can feel it and I can see the way you’re looking at me. It’s going to be an exciting ride for us Katie Logan.” A smoldering kiss ensues.
Owen and Jackie sit down to the meal Jackie had ordered in and Owen thinks they are closer than they’ve ever been after the whole Casper thing. Jackie tells him she made a mistake and she’s scared to tell him. Owen assures her she can tell him anything. Jackie tells him she was with Whip after the interview and she was grateful to him reaching out to her. She explains how devastated she was and ended up in Whip’s arms. She says there was a kiss and begs him to forgive her.

Wednesday, August 26
Owen walks out on Jackie, Bridget is impressed with Nick and Whip tells Stephanie what happened.
Owen tries to process the fact that Jackie kissed Whip, as she begs him to forgive her. Owen can’t believe she assumed every moment they spent together was a lie and tells her if the roles were reversed, he would have wondered what was wrong with her instead of assuming the worst. Owen asks if she’s in love with Whip or if anything had happened like this before. She says no to the former, but confesses the peck on the cheek Whip gave her after the fashion challenge. She says it was nothing, but Owen retorts, “It seems to me, maybe our marriage is nothing.” Jackie continues to defend herself, but then reveals she went to Whip’s loft, which makes Owen even more furious because she went to the one man she knows he can’t stand. Jackie asks him not to let this one mistake destroy them, but Owen can’t get past the fact that she has so little faith in him. Jackie says it was her insecurity over what they have being too good to be true. Owen thinks maybe it is and Jackie asks for one more chance to win him back. It kills him to say it, but maybe all their detractors were right about them not being able to make their relationship work. Owen says he will come back for his stuff later and starts to leave. Jackie tries to stop him, but Owen can’t live like this because he can’t trust her. He will still love her, but this is goodbye. Owen walks out the door, as Jackie remains behind devastated.
Pam and Stephanie look at a cover of a magazine with Owen and Casper’s photo on it. Whip comes in and wonders how bad it is. Stephanie thinks the press conference he held handled most of the damage. Pam thinks they should keep an eye on Casper and suggests hiring him as her assistant because he’s hot. Whip says the last thing Jackie needs is a walking reminder of the prank.
Bridget and Nick look at the same magazine and Nick tells her about Jackie kissing Whip. Bridget agrees Jackie should tell Owen and Nick concurs that secrets are bad for a marriage, but worries for his mother. Nick admits he was wrong about Owen and he’s never seen his mother happier, so he hopes this situation doesn’t get blown out of proportion. Bridget is impressed with Nick’s change in attitude regarding Owen. Nick points out Owen is pulling his weight, not spending all of Jackie’s money and makes her happy. They both hope Jackie can convince Owen to move past this.
After Pam leaves, Stephanie wonders if there’s something more personal going on with Whip. He tells her about kissing Jackie and that he cares for her. Stephanie thinks maybe he’s fallen for his own creation. Whip says he didn’t mean for this to happen, he just wanted to comfort her. Whip asks if Stephanie wants him to resign. Stephanie says no, but she tells him to concentrate and use the head on his shoulders this time.

Thursday, August 27
Jackie makes a grand gesture to win Owen back, Nick finally believes in Owen's love for his mother and Ridge learns of Beth's illness.
Nick rushes to Jackie's side to see if she's okay. "No, he left me," she cries as she holds a picture of Owen. She tells him that her husband doesn't want anything from her but his freedom. Nick concedes that Owen might have actually loved her. He asks if she tried to explain everything to him and Jackie says that nothing she could say mattered. Nick offers to give a shot.
After Nick has left, Pam brings Jackie some lemon bars and offers support. She advises her to make some kind of grand gesture to get her husband back. Neither flowers or a home-cooked dinner is exactly Jackie's style, but Pam comes up with an idea to soar back into Owen's life.
Over at Forrester, Brooke is trying to assure her mother that she'll be fine. Ridge walks in with photos from the royalty campaign. When Beth sees them she says that her girls deserve to be treated like queens and not merely dress like them. Beth asks Ridge when he's coming home to her daughter. Brooke tells her mother that she and Ridge need to talk. Once they're gone, Stephanie enters the room and tells Beth to stop pressuring her son!
Inside Eric's office, Brooke explains to Ridge that Beth isn't herself right now. She goes on to explain about her mother's Alzheimer's and that she's already in stage five. He takes her in his arms and asks how he can help. She tells him that the medication isn't working and they are losing her bit by bit every day.
"I want you to give my mother another chance," Nick says when he finds Own at the beach house. Owen asks if he's aware what Jackie has done, but Nick doesn't want to talk about that. He tells Owen that he loves Jackie and shouldn't let her slip away. Owen is surprised by his change of heart toward him and Nick admits that he was wrong about him. Owen gets fired up just thinking about how Jackie misjudged him. He tells Nick that he came outside to be alone.
Jackie shows up at the marina and signs the necessary legal forms required for her surprise for Owen. Next, she goes up in a parasail behind a boat with a banner that reads, "I love you Owen!"
From his deck, Owen starts to recognize the shape of the person in the parasail and reads the banner. He smiles and says that she's crazy.

Friday, August 28
Stephanie is forced to defend herself from Beth, Nik is shocked to learn what Pam talked Jackie into and Owen takes Jackie back.
Brooke has taken Ridge into Eric's office to explain how far her mother's dementia has progressed. She says that Beth has never had such a volatile temper before and cries about losing her. After he takes it all in, Ridge asks how he can help.
Outside the office, Beth is laying into Stephanie for stealing Eric from her at Northwestern. The more she rants, the more Stephanie realizes that something isn't right with her. Beth brings up every piece of bad history between them and Stephanie scoffs at her selective memory. Finally, Beth is so frustrated with Stephanie that she starts shoving her and Stephanie shoves back in defense. Marcus comes running and holds the women apart until Ridge and Brooke come out. Stephanie tries to get everyone to understand that she was only trying to calm Beth down. She demands an apology, but Beth sees things differently. She tries to go after Stephanie again, but Brooke holds her back.
At the Jackie M offices, Bridget tells Nick that she's proud of him for trying to help with Owen and Jackie. Pam comes in and tells them not to worry because she's fixed everything. Nick is skeptical, so Pam explains about the parasailing plan. Nick can't believe his ears when Pam says that Jackie is like a giant love bird at this very moment.
Owen can't believe his eyes when he sees Jackie parasailing in front of his beach house. She yells that she loves him and points to the banner. Owen is amused with her antics until he sees a giant flock of seagulls getting too close to her sail. She struggles with them but ultimately plunges into the ocean.
After Owen has plucked Jackie from the water he takes her back to the house and bundles her into a blanket. She tries to explain her intentions by doing such an extreme thing to win him back. "I can't lose you Owen," Jackie cries. He gets her a robe and helps her out of her wet suit. She tells him that Whip means nothing to her, but Owen doesn’t want to talk about him. She chalks their inability to reconcile up to their 'May/December' relationship. She apologizes for never realizing how much he loved her and promises to do anything to get him back. Finally, he admits that he still loves her and she falls into his arms.

Owen can’t get past what happened, Ridge fills Stephanie in on Beth’s condition, Stephen does the same for Donna and Katie and then asks Beth to marry him.
Owen tells Jackie he loves her, but what she did hurt him. He knows he needs to get past it, but he needs more time. He tells her it’s not about what she did with Whip, but that she didn’t give him a chance to explain before running to another man. He’s not giving up on their marriage and he wants it to last, but for now this is how it has to be. Jackie understands and Owen comforts her.
As Beth threatens Stephanie, Stephen comes in and asks Ridge to take his mother out of the room. Donna and Katie come in and wonder what’s going on. Stephen asks Marcus to take Beth out of the room and after they leave, he tells his daughters Beth is getting worse and the last few weeks in Paris, she’s been confused and agitated. He says the disease affects the short-term memory first, so she can’t remember things that just happened, but can recall details from years ago. Katie and Donna cry as their father continues to explain Beth’s Alzheimer’s. The sisters tell their father he doesn’t have to do it alone anymore and they will all band together.
Ridge takes Stephanie to his office and tells her what’s going on with Beth. Stephanie feels for Beth and how awful it must be to just drift away and not know anyone.
Marcus asks Beth what happened with Stephanie and Beth explains she doesn't want her daughters to suffer any more because of Stephanie. She wishes she could have done more for them.
Surrounded by her family, Beth tells them not to worry. She says Stephanie always brings out the worst in her, but she will protect her girls for as long as she can. She doesn’t want them to stop living and thinks there are many special moments ahead for the Logan family. Stephen takes the opportunity to try and make the family whole and complete again. He thinks this is finally the right moment to do this because time is precious and asks Beth to marry him. Beth is stunned, but turns him down. She loves him for asking, but she knows he wouldn’t be if it weren’t for her deteriorating condition. He pulls out a ring and tells her he bought it before they knew she had Alzheimer’s. He tells her he loves her and is not doing this out of guilt over the past. He wants to spend every moment making their days the best they can be. He urges her to take the ring and make him and their daughters happy. Beth’s kids urge her to accept and Beth says yes.
Brooke comes to Ridge’s office and tells him about the proposal. Brooke thinks it will be something good and positive, but knows she is losing her mother a little bit every day. She says there is never enough time with the people you love, which makes her scared about the two of them. Brooke needs him to make a decision about them because this might be the last chance he has.
