Information on Ashley Jones
Ashley Jones joined the cast of THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL as Bridget Forrester in November 2004.
Jones worked steadily since her last daytime role as Megan Dennison on THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS for which she was nominated for two consecutive Daytime Emmy Awards as "Outstanding Younger Actress." She completed four films, including the comedy Old School with Luke Wilson and Will Farrell. She also appears in the comedy Extreme Dating, which arrives in theatres soon. On television since leaving Y&R, she has guest starred on Strong Medicine, 7th Heaven, The District, Without A Trace, and recurred on For the People opposite Leah Thompson. Most recently, Jones enjoyed playing Beth Flaherty on Crossing Jordan with B&B's former Bridget, Jennifer Finnigan.
Jones also found time to go back to the stage in the 2003 comedy "Writer's Block."
While portraying Megan on Y&R, Jones earned her BA degree at Pepperdine University, studying both here in Malibu, and in Florence, Italy. Before moving to California to attend school, Jones acted in Texas, where she was raised, doing theatre, television movies, and commercials.
Personally, Jones is happily married with her new husband, writer Noah Nelson, whom she met when she was only 15 while filming the CBS miniseries, The Fire Next Time.
She greatly misses her family in Texas, but often sees her in-laws that live nearby. Jones recently resumed a childhood passion of playing the violin. Other interests include hiking with her dogs, and writing.
