Desperate Housewives has just returned from summer hiatus here in Sweden. We´re still on season 1. Bree is seeing that crazy George. Susan has found out the truth about Dana. Lynette kicked out her father-in-law for cheating on his wife. Gabrielle is back to work and hating it...
How far along are you guys in USA?

Our Season 2 starts on the 23rd of September and it left off w/ Zach holding Susan hostage and Mike arriving home to find them. Rex has died and his mother is in town. Lynette is going to get a job and her husband is going to stay home w/ the kids. This is all for the new season. I think we are maybe a few spots ahead of you.
I love this show though. You can read spoilers at spoilerfix.com for Season 2 and each episode within the season that they have taped so far... it gonna be good!

I had heard before that Rex dies. What a pity. I kinda like him even though he cheated. So I take it that Lynette doesn´t know her hubby cheated yet? Cause she told him in today´s show that "if you ever cheat, I will take the kids and you´ll never see us again".
Still wanna know why Mary Alice killed herself? Was it just because Zach killed his baby sister all those years ago, or is there more to it?

I don't think that Lynette ever found out in Season 1, she kinda thought about it but never found out that I remember.
Mary Alice... well most of it comes out by the end of Season 1... however it is very complex! More than anything w/ Zach... you wouldn't guess in a million years.. or I sure didn't! I do not want to spoil it for you so I will wait till you get around then. Do you know how many more episodes you have?

This is our Season 2 opener: When Mike arrives home, he finds Zach holding Susan hostage and has to find a way to rescue them both. Meanwhile Lynette interviews for an account executive position at a top ad agency, now that Tom has agreed to stay home with the kids. Her boss, Nina (guest star Joely Fisher), is skeptical about hiring a mother of four, so Lynette makes a big effort to impress her. Rex's mother, Phyllis (guest star Shirley Knight), comes in for his funeral -- and to drive Bree crazy. And Gabrielle, feeling guilty about her unfaithfulness, dutifully begins visiting Carlos in jail, on the season premiere of Desperate Housewives.

I am really enjoying Desperate Housewives, the firdst four episodes were good, but I must admit that I really liked Season 1 better. More things happened. I'm really feeling that Gaby and Lynette's storyline's are going anywhere. But I find it much more funny this season.

I loved the scenes with Bree and her mother in law (When Bree slapped her, that was hilarious), and the scenes with Gaby are also funny as well! I can't wait to see tomorrow's episode!

Me neither, it is kinda fun seeing each of them individually and what is going on in their lives but I wish that they would show a bit more togetherness going over the issues like they did last week it was good seeing just a few of them being together at least, they use to have a gathering I thought cause they invited Edie once.
Also, where is the mystery going w/ the new family I thought it would be as full of suspense as last season but they let us see some already but maybe it will get better!

I agree, the mystery isn't as great and suspenceful as last year, but I do have a feeling that there will be a great twist involved further down the track. I also agree that they should show them together. It seems that they are all in their own little world, but I would like to see them bond more. The last time was at Rex's funeral from my memory.

Yes, I think they do need to bond more, we did get to see them going w/ her to bury Rex again but it just didn't seem the same.
I have a feeling after seeing this past weeks that a bigger twist is coming and I still can't figure everything out w/ the new family.

I can't believe Gaby lost the baby, that was really sad. And I can't wait to watch 2nite's episode of DH, it ended with suspence with Bree and George last week.

I was sad too. As much as I like Gaby, I don't like what she's doing, but still, love her to bits, LOL. Really, I didn't see the previews (I downloaded the episode)..interesting!

After missing a couple of seasons of DH, I have started watching again. The show got better in the 4th season, and I am liking the 5th season with the 5 year ahead jump.
