...I say Ridge should get down on his knees and sing the Player song "Baby Come Back" to Taylor.
After all, he knows the song quite well because he is a member of Player.

I'm really hating Ridge.... first he decides to put Taylor and Brooke up to a beauty talent contest to decide with whom he stays Then he bashes his mother out... then is no longer happy with Taylor and still thinks of Brooke...and needs her  and now... he's deciding his son's future on the runway!!!!!!! ...and the future of Gaby not to mention!!! he is so presumptuous....being sure he'll win!!!!!....grrrrrrr hate him! I use to love seeing him with Taylor...now i just want him far far away from her (and Hector).... |

I believe that Ridge is beginning to have a rude awakening, that he is no long the "stud muffin" he thought he had been for years and years and women no longer are dropping at his feet, except for the psycho Morgan, and she is nuts so I guess you can excuse her behavior. That is why he is now trying to control Thomas like he has been controlled all his life by Stephanie.
Remember Stephanie always new what was best for Ridge and now Ridge knows what is best for Thomas. It does not help that Gabby is a younger version of Brooke either and Ridge is not bright enough to realize that Gabby and Brooke are the same. Ridge will eventually realize that Taylor is the only woman for him, but he will have to take a backseat to Hector for a while and this will drive him crazy, remember he never really had competition over Taylor before, Taylor never was the tramp that Brooke was, Taylor was safe and she was was always reliable, he could always count on her she was the stable one in his life. Now she is moving on without him, because of his ego and not wanting therapy. Being a psychiatrist Taylor should recognize when someone needs help mentally and she see's the signs in Ridge, after all he did say he was a mess, he finds out his father is not his father, he has a half brother he never new he had, his mother controls his emotions, his wife dies and comes back not once, not twice, but three times and the third time she died in his arms or at least he thought, and now she is back wanting things like they were, but he remarries and now she is not his wife, he has a son he never see (I say that is his choice), he got kidnapped by the same nut case that he thought killed his wife and now his son works for the rival company
moves out and marries an illegal alien. The question what should Ridge do he needs to lock himself in a rubber room and bounce off the walls for a while and then come crawling back to Taylor and see the shrink. While he is in the rubber room Taylor should have some fun and be romanced by Hector.
