Eraclito, a philosopher from ancient Greece, believed that you can't appreciate life if you don't know death; you can't appreciate health if you don't know illness; you can't appreciate peace if you don't know war...
In the same way, we couldn't appreciate the strenght of Steph & Eric relationship if they sometimes didn't separate, didn't fight like cats and dogs or didn't hate each other!
But when they're back together something wonderful always happens...it's like a magic! They're amazing!!!!

I have come to not even be able to picture them apart. They´re a duo for life. I loved them together from the first time I saw them in a scene together. I don´t know why, since I sure didn´t plan on starting to follow a soap opera at that time. But I saw them, and BANG I was stuck on B&B. Have been ever since. And it´s ALL due to Stic and Steph.  |

 Need I say more..... a picture speaks more than a thousand words. But I just have to say that I totally agree with you Cecilia, for me it was also love at first sight when I saw Eric and Stephanie They love eachother no matter what, they are best of friends, they have overcome so many things together and always found their way back to eachother AND what a good looking couple they are. THEY ARE JUST MEANT TO BE TOGETHER. They are indeed a couple for life ( you know that too Bell ) and I just can´t stand to see them with anyone else ( I am sorry )If they divorce and merry someone else.... no I can´t go thru that again....it is the ff button or I am out of here. I can´t stand to see them apart for long, it just isn´t B&B for me.I will just have to ff thru the Eric and Jackie  scenes. Yes I agree they have to be separated at times to make it a show BUT I hate what Eric is doing in that time. Let HIM love, want, long for, AND FIGHT FOR Stephanie the way she ALWAYS does for him. Let HIM be the insecure one for a change. |

Watching Eric and Tackie together is as painful as having your appendix taken out without any anesthetic or morphene...they have NO chemistry! I have never been able to enjoy Eric with anyone but Stephanie, but it's always Eric who has flings when he and Stephanie are separated/divorced. I'd like to see that change. I'd love to see Stephanie have a relationship with another man, that would drive Eric right out of his mind!
Eric needs to fight for Stephanie, the way she fights for him and their family!

I couldn´t agree more Maddy. Ofcorse the main reason for loving STIC is Susan and John, they are great together and they have such chemistry. I absolutely HATE to see Eric and Stephanie paired with other people.It makes me so sad  |

Honestly I don't know what to do with this two. From early on, Stephanie was written as the frustrated wife of a successful fashion designer who failed to make her feel
1. Loved
2. Cared for
3. Secure in the marriage
4. The only one he could love
That turned Stephanie into a control freak, a dominant mother and the most frustrated female of them all.
For may years, she was following Eric around, whenever he wanted her (either because he suddenly loved her again or there was not a younger woman around) he could have her, emotionally or in a sexual way, him being the centre of her universe.
And for what? Seing him chasing skirts, getting married to whoever was young, pretty and available. Having children with another woman and leaving it to Stephanie to look after them.
And now finally he plays the moral judge to find her guilty of lying. Eric is totally spineless, unworthy and weak.
Stephanie deserves so much better.
(Personally, I find that both Eric and Stephanie have ever looked perfect for each other and are just wrong with other partners. They belong togehter, mostly because the amazing chemistry between the actors. But that is not the point here. )
JMHO, of course.

I really can´t argue lots of things you said, missjanet. Eric is a typical Forrester. No woman has EVER felt secure and reassured being married to a Forrester. That´s why they have done certain questionable things... Stephanie has always been insecure about Eric. Brooke and Taylor and Caroline were always insecure about Ridge´s love for them, and feared he´d leave. Macy was always insecure about Thorne. Amber was always insecure with Rick. I´ve been saying for years now that the Forrester men aren´t worth much to have. They will only bring out the worst in you because of their inability to really commit to just one person for life. They can´t do it. And that just leaves the women in limbo. And now, it seems as thought the Marone men aren´t so much better than the Forrester men...  But hey, I will still always think that Eric belongs with Stephanie, Ridge belongs with Taylor, ex-Thorne belongs with Macy, nuThorne belongs with Darla, and Rick... Well, fine he may belong with Amber. And now, Thomas may belong with Gaby. |

ITA Cecilia. In the beginning of B&B, Stephanie was just so beautiful but still not enough for her husband, who will always want what he can't have. (For those who have not seen the early days, Stephanie was "smokin'"). On the other side, he never let Stephanie go, somehow he managed to keep her exactly where he wanted her. Then, the romance between Eric and Stephanie was much better written and executed than everything you see nowadays, with the 2 actors just shining. Sigh.
Right now I'm hoping that Eric and Jackie are the suppoesd "suprise wedding", so that Stephanie can go onto warpath and pay him back.

I so agree with you missjanet...Stephanie was so beautiful and still Eric continued searching for women like Brooke...i never could understand why!! Although Steph is still beautiful today, back then besides youth she was so self assured....she had that extra something!!! yes she changed...but who wouldn't after beeing trough all that....and the rage towards Brooke...come on...i defy anyone to say she wouldn't do the same if had a woman sleeping and marrying her husband and both her sons...come on....she sleeps with anything that moves!!!!!!!  I think right now Eric is trying to get over Stephanie....but he just can't...have you noticed how he keeps talking about her when he's with jackie?... I don't think the secret marriage is going the be theirs....Stephanie wouldn't let go that easy!! I think it will have something to do with Brooke (Dante/Ridge) or Taylor (Hector)... |

Oh I so agree girls, Stephanie was drop dead gorgeous when she was younger and she STILL is a very beautiful woman,with such charisma and grace.Stupid Eric must be blind I also agree with you stephanderic, Eric is trying to get over Stephanie,but he keeps talking about her with Jackie AND I think he sounded kind of sad when he spoke about her on Friday´s epi..... and he is still wearing his wedding ring..... the way he was talking about her, you would have thought he´d taken it off ..... |

Well, it´s not that easy getting over someone you´ve loved for so many years. Will he be able to? He can try his hardest, but he will always love Steph. And right now, I think he really hates that he still loves her, and that´s why he is being so damn cruel to her. There´s a fine line between love and hate. If he was indeed over her, he wouldn´t have any energy over to hate her or talk badly about her. He´d just let go easily.

I agree you guys, he's trying to convince himself that he hates her so he can go jump into bed with some floozy (Tackie/Boo Ho) and say, "Look at me, I've gotten on with my life." Eric can poison his thoughts and words about Stephanie, he can convince his mind that he hates her, but the heart knows better. His heart will always love Stephanie, and Stephanie alone.
