Ok, when Gabby first came on board she was this poor sweet innocent kid that lost her mother in an automobile accident. Stephanie felt responsible for her and took her in. Thomas took a shine to her felt bad that she could not live her mothers dream and go to college because of her citizenship and married her
in secret. Here are a few questions I have and see if anyone else has the same question.
Where has Stephanie been during this time, considering she was suppose to be the guardian of young Gabby, you do not here Stephanie giving out her grandmotherly advice, and I am sure Stephanie would have an opinion on the situation, "remember Amber" and how Stephanie when ballistic.
Gabby mentioned the other day that Stephanie offered her some type of trust fund after her mother died and she did not accept it, is it because she new she would be living in the Forrester Mansion and that she would have a bigger fish to catch with the Grandson in the future.
Gabby is starting to remind me a lot more like the
young Brooke, and the remark that Thomas made to his father the other day made me think that is the direction that this storyline is going.
Sally's offer just made Gabby's eyes get bigger and she now has her a Forrester man who can give her anything money can by. So my question do you think that Gabby is going to turn out to be another Brooke, a big thorn is Taylors side as Brooke still is in Stephanie's and a gold digger or do you think she will still be that sweet little innocent that Stephanie watched grow up.

Excellent post! I think the directors are going to take Gabby south, into Brookish behaviour land, we all know the writers like making vixens and tramps out of the women on this show, and the women who they can't do that to end up with a new tragedy every few days.

I hope to see Gaby as the person she was when she joined B&B. I like her. But things can change if they change her character to a nuBrooke or nuAmber, the way Amber was in the beginning.

Oh, I love Gabby... don't destroy her!!! I don't think she is going to be a gold digger, she is the one wanting Thomas to wait on signing the contract and to think about College.
I think she was excited by it to as it would be a start for them to make a life together and for her to stay here.
It has to be frightening about the fact that she might have to leave the only country she has ever known, it would be to me.
As far as where is Stephanie... not sure they haven't shown her much at all lately but she probably doesn't have to be her guardian anymore as they mentioned the other day that Thomas and Gabby are both 18....

Gabby is very self centered. I think she is manipulative with Thomas, and her questions about college and about his parents are just lip service because
action speaks a lot louder than words. Remember when Taylor told her she wanted Gabby to leave, and Gabby arrogantly and defiantly said, "No." Just like
that! That's why I have and will refer to her as Mouthy. She should never have created a situation where Thomas had to choose between her and Taylor. I will
of course concede that it takes two to tango, and Thomas was as responsible as she was for their sleeping together. He is too immature. Let the two foolish ones marry because right now they think they are Romeo and Juliet with Romeo's parents being the baddies. Left on their own, they will soon haver their own problems and be too immature to handle them. Taylor should use reverse psychology on them and just let them be together.
Unfortunately, it looks like Fridge is going to challenge Thomas to a fashion "duel" and I'll bet that the bet is that if Fridge wins, the marriage is annulled, and if Thomas wins, then he won't interfere further with Thomas and Mouthy.

Thanks for all your post to my question, they were all very valid points, I do think that they are testing the
waters on Gabby to see if it will work to make her into a version of the younger Brooke, the writing it on the
wall, now lets see which way she goes.

Well, so far I still like Gabby. But she is indeed changing for the worse. But I can still take her. Still better than Caitlin. We can stand together! I like Gabby and Thomas and I think their storyline is going to add a lot, hopefully doesn't end up being a repeat, but drama is drama! Gabby is lots better than Caitlin... I liked Caitlin at first then she changed and there was no way for me to like her then. |

I lovoe Gabby, I don't think she is selfish at all, when stephanie tried to offer her stuff after her mother died she insisted on working for them, and when Thomas asked her to marry him so she could have a green card she said no at first. Now they genuinely love each other and she is being a concerned wife, there's nothing wrong with that. I love taylor But I had to cheer when she told her NO!. Taylor has bever even entertained the thought of the two having real feelings for eachother. she needs to stop jumping to conclusions here and stop and think a little bit. She should be thrilled that Thomas has Gabby and not amber!

You are right cecilia, I never have to love Bridget, she always wanted whom Ridge and Brooke is together, you remember when Taylor was pregnant of Thomas and that this small pest it is to save from the house and that she made everything so that ridge and Brooke returns together, it is from this moment there, that I have to begin to hate Bridget  |

Yeah same here the princess attitude I don't like, when Caitlin came on she didn't have it and not sure why they had her develop it unless they wanted her to act more like Sam's mother cause Sam wasn't that extreme and Hector sure wasn't.

I still like Gaby. I mean, she has gotten such a raw deal with her mother dying, being an illegal alien, being poor and being hated by her in-laws, esp Ridge who was cruel to her before he found out they had married and had sex. Can´t be easy.

I have liked Gabby since she came on the scene. She didn't go after Thomas, Thomas went and was helping her thru a tough time and they meshed (a lot better than Caitlin did w/ him).
I think that they are a cute couple, and I think Gabby really felt for him before they got married that he cared about her enough to do that act of kindness, and it grew from there.
She didn't take money from Stephanie and hasn't taken any from Thomas. They are at Spectra for the time being not in a penthouse somewhere.
I was glad to hear Ridge mention that Gabby turned down the money that Stephanie offered her when her mother died.
When she told Thomas that she trusted him and believed in him enough to let him gamble w/ her future so that his family would accept them, that is all it seems that she wants is to have a life/family w/ Thomas. They are truly in love, if it is puppy love then it will play out but they really seem to care but she knows how much family means to him and was hestitate to let him sign on again w/ Sally and not go to college.
I just don't see her being a gold digger, but I could be wrong! Also, I don't know if I could let my future be decided in a fashion duel, not against Ridge, they all sided w/ him against Thorne and so I don't hold much hope.

The current Gabby isn't a gold digger but we don't know what character assasination the writers have in store for her. I don't trust these writers.
