Susan/Stephanie is so beautiful and it's so obvious that everyone in that room loves and respects her. She moves me to tears by just closing her eyes and steeling herself to hold on to that smile and not break down.
Loved the singing. Loved the girls conversing with their mother. Loved Eric recalling their beginning (even if the facts change every time they talk about it). Loved how Thorne was right by her side. Even loved Hope leaning on her Mom - so realistic of what would really happen at such an event.
Can't wait to hear the Celtic Women sing "O Danny Boy" and see what we missed in the bonus scene.
Oh how I'm going to miss having Susan and STIC scenes to look forward to.

I loved that he mentioned how young they were when he fell in love with her (and I don't care that he's been 22 before) And that he had never met anyone like her before and how his voice broke in the end And that he took up that picture of Steph sitting on the floor I also "loved" how tired she looked in the beginning. Like we could see life leaving her, little by little

Had me in tears too,it was so realistic.
Since this is also goodbye to Susan,it must have been so hard to tape.l don´t know how John managed to singing without crying.

I loved that he mentioned how young they were when he fell in love with her (and I don't care that he's been 22 before) He was 21 too..in the cookie episode ;D Now they have to make him younger ;D I enjoyed the episode as well, of course. I enjoy every second with STIC. What saddens and frustrates me deeply is that they keep scratching the surface on every level. There's no real depth, no time, no exploring, no (what I call) quality. I don't know how to explain it. I don't see the writers care or love for the character behind all of this.

Me too with all the crying And how he looked at her at the end of his song just says it all really. And they've been married 50 years - so the younger Eric was when they met - the younger he is now!!

This may be absolutely crazy...and way too detailed and specific.....but I absolutely love it when Stephanie and Eric hug, and instead of her being turned outward with the back of her head at his chin, she's turned in to him with her forehead under his chin....like she's resting on his chest instead of over his shoulder. I love those shots and we got one of them today after she told Eric not to worry about Ridge and he said to trust him. They just seem so much more intimate in that embrace.
Today was tough...I think tomorrow will require sedatives.

I often hide my face in the other person or in my arms when I hug someone. That makes for lousy camera angles, but at least it's more real.

Kathy Not crazy at all Kathy. That detail is so vital, the way she leans on HIM,rests her face on his chest, speakd volumes to me,of the tender love they share.Loove those hugs so much but soon we will see their last hug......last kiss.....if we haven´t seen the last kiss already

Have a feeling that the Forrester mansion will remain. I think Bell formed his words wrong when he said what he did.

Ann, you're so diplomatic when it comes about everything BEFORE the last part which was Brooke non-stop. I can't even begin to descibre how mad it makes me, and how very sad it leaves me. Brooke, Brooke, Brooke. Where are the children? Where is the family? They are nothing but a tiny footnote. Shame on you, Bell! Shame on you! It may sound crazy but B&B used to be like a dear friend to me bc it has been part of my life so far, it was just with me, part of my daily routine, a nice fantasy . Being let down like this (and I not only mean Brooke but also how the entire SL was handled) with this final story, I feel like being fooled by that friend who betrayed my loyalty and faith. As I said a few weeks ago, those horrible re-writes negate everything I emotionally invested in in the past 22 of my 26 years. On the other hand it's good. Once a certain level is reached, I can be unforgiving. Maybe I needed this last disappointment to get over my silly B&B-weakness once and for all. And after all, the old, good clips will remain forever

But it is really just Stephanie handing the leading lady roll over to Brooke - Bell's wish yes, that seems far more important, then giving the long time STIC fans, that has helped keep this show on the air for 25+ years, what they so greatly deserve.Shame on Bell

I deny that the first two third happened and only watch Steph's last minutes today (even then Brooke pops up ALL the time during the good-byes ) and I love poor Eric..he's crying all the time in the background I can't get enough of seeing Eric suffer like hell bc he's losing Steph. I still hope to see him totally breaking down, trying to hide it but Steph finding him But there won't be any time left for such a scene in "The Rushed and The Brookeful". Aw Eric I want to adopt him! And if he's too sad, we can watch all of the good scenes with him and Steph on dvd ;D

Ok, that I loved the last part goes without saying.....it was absolutely heart breaking But was it only me that loved their little "dance" She was too weak to dance so it ended up just an embrace *ugly cry* So far, this epi was the worst in the crying department for me...I was worried my contacts would get washed away ;D

l loved their little "dance " too,so sweet of Eric to ask her to dance with him for the last time oh jeezz l teary up just writing this that was so sweet.Eric was so loving and gentle with his wife, and he tried not to cry.But inside he is falling apart in the crying dep. well since my pc got stuck,l got so stressed out that my energy was directed into getting back on track so to speak. But once back and that line about Your grandfather will be lonely, that almost killed me

I loved their little dance and I was crying so much....... It was so sad, heartbreaking and beautiful Wished we would have gotten more scenes like that in this SL, but appriciate the few lovely scenes we got..... Loved the last scene too where Steph said goodbye to everyone, so heartbreaking too Everything in between I just want to forget, don't like at all that Bell has turned this SL into another lovefest for Brooke.....
