I've been considering this very carefully and I'm not convinced that Bridget is pregnant. The Bridget we've seen since Ashley Jones started portraying the character has been extremely Brookerish. (Blind to the obvious, using all tactics to seduce a man, totally obsessed with Nick, sleeping with one man and lying about it to another). Stephanie didn't see the test strip so it's Bridget's word. Bridget could be lying in a desperate attempt to snag Nick into marriage...a trick Brooker has used once or twice. Any thoughts?

That is a possibilty. Like mother like daughter. It does seem to me that this new girl (Ashley Jones) seem to be playing Bridgit as just being plain dumb. Plus, Ashley Jones looks so fake with bottle blond job she has.
The other girl who played Bridgit (can't remember her name) was much better and more believable.

I think Bridget is pregnant. Her attitude after taking the pregnancy test at Big Bear was 180 degrees different when she came out of the bathroom and acted so optimistic and confident that Nick and she still had a future. I don't think she is pretending. And the way she clutched her stomach today telling Nick and Brooker that this was the end of the humiliation, she had a certain resolve about her that made me want to applaud her. Many have blamed Bridget for being boo hoo and delusional, but given her history and a mother like Brooker, how could she turn out any less messed up? She has always been more of the mother to Brooker, than Brooker is mother to Bridget. Great scene with Bridget finally holding Nick and Brooker accountable. Nick, for many long moments, just stood there, still a bit self-righteous. And patronizing both he and Brooker as if to say, ooooh, we still have feelings for each other but we'll make the ultimate sacrafice so you can have Nick. Eeeeew. Maybe she'll just tell Nick that she is pregnant and that she's just not sure whether it's Dante's or his, or, she might just say that she's going to have an abortion so she'll be free of him and move in with Dante. I'd be satisfied with either scenario. Go Bridget! And boy, am I glad that she said to Brooker that she is exactly who Stephanie said Brooker was. Yes!

I have to admit, today AJ did the best acting she's done ever since she joined the cast as Bridget. After watching today's episode (my first post was before I saw B&B today) I am beginning to think maybe she may be pregnant after all. And I agree with you GoStephanie, Nick and Brooker were sickening. Sure we still love each other but we'll act like that love doesn't exist so you and Nick can be together. You should just go on and be happy. See what a good mommy I'm being?  Brooker will never get it. |

I think she is pregnant, but I am not 100% sure... Sources say Brooke´s daughter will emerge. Like mother like daughter. And Brooke has faked a pregnancy once, in 1997 or 1998, when Brooke all of the sudden announced she was pregnant to keep Ridge from Taylor & Thomas. Then when she didn´t get pregnant, she faked a miscarriage too so Ridge would feel sorry for her and stay with her. Miscarriage without any blood. Yeah right!  |

Oh I think she has been WONDERFUL this week in her acting. I think she is pregnant but I saw in the spoiler for tomorrow on another website that her and Dante went to the dr. and she got the deed done. I don't see them having her get an abortion this soon, that just doesn't leave as much drama as the unknown, I personally believe that she went to confirm her pregnancy not terminate it, but you never know.

You're onto something there Cntrygurl, I don't think ending the pregnancy this soon is good for the storyline. Plus, getting an abortion because the man most likely to be your baby's daddy is in love with someone else is silly...don't take Nick's mistakes out on your unborn child. Bridget could be a single parent, it would be difficult but it's not impossible.
