I honestly believe Stephanie and Taylor are the only sane people on B&B. And when they do the bad things they sometimes do, it´s because the lunatics in the family is pushing them over the edge.
Look at the family! Eric, Ridge, Thorne & Nick - all share Brooke in common and thinks there is NOTHING wrong about it. And they cannot understand why anyone could ever think something was wrong with it, or how anyone can blame them or Brooke for her manipulative ways of crying herself off the hook. That´s something that could just drive anyone insane!
Bridget & Rick stands up for their mother like she was a freaking saint. They support her almost always whenever she´s made their step-brothers their step-daddies, Bridget´s husband the father of her sister, Bridget´s granddad her dad.... They still stand by her, thinking it´s nothing wrong with it. As their step-mother that must really be appalling for Stephanie to see.
Brooke being forgiven for every nasty vulgar thing she does, and Brooke being held up on a pedistal for being such a wonderful person.... That could drive anyone sane insane!
The family just kicks and kicks on Stephanie and Taylor with their standards and beliefs that it´s a freaking wonder that they´re still sane!
Stephanie going over the edge is not her fault, it´s her family´s fault. They just push and push and push. I see Stephanie fighting to keep from falling down the cliff, and the family keep pushing her more over the edge.
Hopefully she fell into water, swum to shore and will emerge very soon. And this time refusing to let her family push her down the edge again.

Excellent post Cecilia! Taylor and Steph are the ONLY ones in this family who have their eyes open, they're the only ones with morals and standards, they're they only ones who aren't trash.

I found Bridget's cruelty to Stephanie today hard to take and can only look forward to her eating her sour words.
She never appreciated the fact that Stephanie has loved, nurtured and supported her over so many years especially when Stephanie had no obligation to do so--after all,
Bridget is the product of Brooker and ErWeak and Bridget is a constant reminder to her of ErWeak's betrayal of her with Brooker. Bridget sure takes a lot for granted!
Stephanie has a big heart, and claims nearly all the brains
on this show!

I agree with everything you said
Taylor and Stephanie are always held at a differentstandard and when they fall to the level than Brooke and this causes those around them to turn
away from them, because they know that those kind of actions are not in their make-up. . They just don't realize the effect that Brooke has on the woman around her. The woman lose patience, after all you can only talk to a wall for so long before you start banging your head into it. That is what it is like for Taylor and Stephanie when they are talking to the Forrester men about the Queen of Trash. It seems like only the extreme gets their attention, and if lowering there self once in a while will do it, they will to protect their family.
I love to see Stephanie and Brooke go at it, and I want
to see more Taylor and Stephanie, it seems she and
now Bridget are the only ones who have Brookes number.

I agree with you, taylorfanalways, because it also irritates me to no end that Stephanie and Taylor are held to a higher standard than Brooker. The so-called men are incapable of putting themselves, for even a single minute, in the women's' shoes to see how Brooker's actions have hurt them to the core and disrupted their lives. In a way, the men side with Brooker also because they themselves have her low moral standards, so overlooking her behavior serves the dual purpose of overlooking their own because their behavior has been reprehensible too. I also relish seeing Stephanie and Brooker face off--Stephanie has some great zingers and focuses like a laser beam on exactly what Brooker's latest transgresssion happens to be. Her facial expressions are perfect especially when they are oftentimes so very subtle and yet not so subtle.
Go, Stephanie, go and fight for right and the American Way!

Excellent posts everyone! I'm glad Bridget's wised up, it's damn near about time! She definitely should have treated Stephanie much better! Stephanie's the only one in that family who cares about her.
