Budge cathes Nick declaring his love for Mumsey
there's a lot fo dialogue on Monday between Budge and Stephanie at the cabin, Steph comes back with a pregnancy test for Budge to take, she hesitiates but takes the test, it comes out positive, and Budge comes to the realization that she has what Brooke can't give Nick and that's a child of his own, she has a new revelation, shecan get Nick, Steph tries to tell her that a baby doesn't solve everything, she lashes out at Steph and tells her that Steph just wants her to be alone, self-rightoues and miserable just like she is, she used to want to be just like Steph but now she thanks Steph for showing her what a bitter dead end it would be, and she storms off to return home after she had already told Nick and Brooke that she needed to be alone and wasn't coming home tonight.
now the juice:
Nick and Brooke still in front of the fire
Nick- I promise you Brooke, you will be happy again
Brooke- what are we doing?(duh, it's called almost kissing)
Nick- uh, I don't know(duh it's called cheating) I'm sorry
Brooke- No, I'm sorry
Nick- um, I think I should call Bridgette
Brooke- well what are you going to say(he's goona tell her that you guys were nanoseconds from kissing duh)
after the phone call they both have space between them n ow
Brooke- did she tell you where she is
Nick- no, she didn't tell me either
Brooke- well I don't think she wants to be found, give her a little time and then call her back, she'll be more understanding
Nick- maybe she's understood all along(ya think?) better than we did, we've been lying to her
Brooke- no, we haven't
Nick- well how do you explain what almost just happened here(yeah, I wanna hear it too)we think we're telling the truth but e're really not, and Bridgette saw it and we didn't, I've basicly been unfaithful to Bridgette with you in every way but one(thank you) and now we both know that it could happen if we let it.
Brooke- Nick, we're both exhausted and..we've been up all night at the hospital with Hope and..
Brooke- that doesn't account for this and you know it! MY GOD what man wouldn't consider himself lucky to be in love with 2 women(yuk) like you and your daughter(pervert) in one lifetime, I don't understand it, I don't know how it's even possible, no one told me that someone could come along and make me feels things so differently but yet the same(to much seeweed)
Brooke- I know all about that, you should have just asked me(WE KNOW)
Nick- well it should have happened for us, if I hadn't been so Ridge everything, if I hadn't made him my whole life then

Brooke- then maybe we could have been happy and now that I've become wise of myself, you're with Bridgette(what a thing to say)

(silence falls for about 3 seconds)

Brooke- I want Budge to feel safe, especially from me, I love her so much, she's the proudest thing in my life and the day I betrayed her, it was the greatest shame for me and I DON'T want that to ever happen again, I'd rather put a gun to my head and pull the trigger(got a gun handy?) I owe her a life with someody that can make her happy
Nick- she's going to have that, she have it with me
Brooke- thank you,. but what are we going to say the next time she asks if we
Nick- we'll tell her the truth, that she wasn't imagining something between us, but the key is, we can't act on it because Budge can't be hurt anymore than she already has(can't or won't)

(Brooke is now coming back down with a sleak spaghetti strapped gown black, nice)
Brooke- oh, Nick I thought you left
Nick- I was going to, but the food arrived
Brooke- right, your romantic dinner with Budge
Nick-yeah, she's not coming home tonight, but I didn't want it to go to waste, I was trying to be quiet I thought you were sleeping
Brooke- well, have yoou ever been so tired you just can't sleep? I came down to grab a book
Nick- maybe some heavy French food will do the trick(stretching his arm over the food)
Brooke- well it does smell good, just let me go put something on
Nick- nah...jus come on and sit down, do you want salad first or last?
Brooke- well ihow cold is everything else?
Nick- well it's pretty cold, but we have some kind of fish that I can't pronounce and a vegetable something
Brooke- I'll take the vegetables
Nick- we should have a toast, what should we toast to
Broke- to you and Bridgette
Nick- and no regrets
Brooke- I don't even know what that feels like(shame)
Nick- ok, then to saying good-bye with no regrets
Brooke-you should have Budge move in with you ( I don't trust myself) because as long as she's here
Nick- that means I'm here, then she'll see us together and that would be bad(ya think?)
Brooke- sad nod
NIck- what's the matter

(Nick now moves next to Brooke facing her and Budge is now in the doorway listening)

BUDGE NOW SLAMS THE DOOR WHEN SHE HEARS THIS AND NICK JUMPS UP LIKE A JACK IN THE BOX AND BUDGE STAND THERE STARING AT THEM LIKE HER EYES COULD SPIT OUT FIRE, BROOKES FACE IS LIKE OH BOY, STANDING THERE IN HER NIGHTGOWN...CAN'T WAIT TO HERE THIS EXPLANATION
OH....and Steph goes by the beachhouse to tell Eric what's going on and he won't let her in, so of course they all forget Queen Steph has keys to all these places, so she opens the door, Eric insults her and tells her he's having the locks changed, Steph tells him so be it, and drag a bucket of sand in while he's at it to bury his head in it. She informs Eric that Budge is pregnant, he looks at her like it's a lie, she's fed up and leaves....gauranteed she's gonna show up at Brooke's on Tuesday!
