After the last several weeks of watching this woman (Stephanie Forrester) saying her goodbyes to family and friends and the incredible anguish and ugly, very ugly crying I've done in that time as she was dying. Not only because we knew Stephanie Forrester was dying BUT most importantly because our Susan Flannery was leaving B & B.
Today I can finally say that, I"M SO THRILLED FOR SUSAN FLANNERY FOR LEAVING THIS CRAPTACULAR SOAP OPERA - SHE IS ONE SMART COOKIE. She's known for a while that she's been wanting to leave because although she won't publicly admit it, BUT she knows that Brad B. is steering this ship the WRONG WAY HEADED FOR A VERY LARGE ICEBERG -- and that very gutsy and very intelligent woman jumped ship at the perfect time.
For sure now B & B's days are without a doubt are numbered. AND who's fault is it? BRAD BELL'S and only BRAD BELL's...he must have Alzheimers because all he does is to rehash the same stories over and over and over...BORING!!!
We were all so disappointed with how in the end Brooke was the only person present when she died -- not Eric, not her children, not Pam -- oh no, all we got was Brooke, oh excuse me St. Brooke -- since the moment we knew that Susan going to be leaving and that she would die in the end -- we pretty much knew that given Brad's admiration for St. Brooke that in the end it would be all about her and not Staphanie. As I watched today's show it seemed that John had difficulty and perhaps struggled in getting out his lines -- not about his acting but having to utter those words which made absolutely no sense because the Stephanie we all know and love would truly not have wanted to go in this manner. It is so UNCHARACTERISTIC of this fiercely protective, loving mother to treat them the way she did.
I think if Susan were staying that she would have said to Brad -- hey I think you should do this or that instead -- the same way that she did when they wanted to blame Brooke's rape on Stephanie -- And you know why she did not speak up? Because she no longer gives a damn about Brad B. sinking the ship and it was not her place because she was looking at no longer going to be there to watch THE IDIOT SELF IMPLODE -- what a DUMB ASS!! He's so NARCISSISTIC, TOO.
And after all his efforts to make Brooke the "matriarch", "The Tramp From the Valley" is B A C K!! Unbelievable, the body isn't even cold...
So SUSAN, I love,you , I'm going to miss you like heck, much luck in your future endeavors -- I will follow you on Venice and Grove!! XOXO
