Vent time!! Eric is a darling. He has done and said all the right things!! The only criticism that remotely comes to mind is the hair cut. ;D ;D I know there was no control over Ronn Moss quitting, but I feel like this "Where's Ridge" scenario is like "Where's Waldo"! It is so ridiculous that he is not there. Betrays the roots of this entire series as the relationship with Stephanie and Ridge is back basis for everything! So unnatural! I know forgiveness is a wonderful thing, but Stephanie and Donna make me slightly nauseous, too! The missing grandchildren bother me..they could at least have Steph say that she is so glad to have been able to spend that time with Ally,etc..acknowledge something! The select people that got written invitations baffle me, too...very strange on selection.... When Steph was making her guest list, it appeared she listed a variety of people other than the "usual suspects"....To me, I would say in attendance is the "usual suspects" The usual inconsistencies like Eric's age when they met....all of a sudden Steph is Irish... All of this can be forgiven is we get a powerful death scene with Steph with Eric..but I feel we won't. It looks like Bell's obsession with Brooke is being shoved down our throats. Steph's health declines way too fast to get any of our Big Bear dreams to come true. I am done.....for the moment!

Ridge/Ronn Moss -- Brad B. should just have written him off and re-written history (albeit quickly) and forgotten he is Stephanie's son. Brad B. is great at re-writting history that he would have been able to do it, rather than waiting and hoping for Ronn Moss to return just for an epi or 2. A perfect example of Brads talent at re-writting history is no mention of Angela, now that Stephanie is dying you'd think that they'll have Stephanie or Eric mention her and the possibility of Stephanie seeing her in heaven or something like that.
NOTE: On Ronn Moss's departure -- we all now know that he left for contract/salary reasons. He felt that he was too good to have to be asked to take a pay cut, etc., etc. Remember folks HE made the decision to leave. That being said, if he really respected Susan, he should have put all those things aside and he should have talked with Brad and said to him that he would like to be their for her and not the show. This could have been a wonderful surprise for the entire cast but most especially for Susan.
The class act that Susan is did not leave so abruptly and stuck around in order for Brad to figure out her exit story. In return Brad has given her a fitting tribute. Not only as Stephanie Forrester but most especially --SUSAN FLANNERY!!

I can't say i have too many blames and complains abt this sl till now, after all i'm liking it ...But of course i have noticed a few things that are quite absurd too and that are basically the same as gwhite's! Ridge would NEVER not be present for his mother last days of living! And, anyway, Bell could have handled the matter in a very different way ....I understand that RM can't be around eventually! But at least Bell could have invented a letter from Ridge or steph remembering the best moments with her beloved son ...something like that! It seems to me that everybody has even forgotten that Ridge exists!!!! ;D Amen!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D I have to admit that when Steph gave the invitation to Donna i even liked it! It was fun! I laughed! ;D But yest's scene was pathetic, idiotic too! ... My eyes and ears were even burning and i was full of shame...i couldnt believe what i was witnessing! ;D ;D Too sugary and, yes, nauseating!! Ok...steph is Irish...thanks for telling...we will all sleep better tonight! ;D But since when has anyone (steph & Co.) ever given to this some importance!?!??!! ;D ;D ;D And those 4 women singing ...well...what's so special? can't say i liked it too much! Eric's speech was the best! And I would have loved him to sing to her another song not containing the irish theme!! Why not making Steph Texan and singing to her the song "THE BLUEST EYES IN TEXAS"?? ;D ;D

Right, you learn something new every day ;D As far as l know Susan´s parents were irish,so it seem to me that Bell was thinking more of Susan than of Stephanie when he choose the irish theme ;D yes,it´s like Ridge,Ridge who It´s so wierd not to somehow include the one child Stephanie AND Eric have favoured the most ::)never liked that but that´s the way Bell wrote it.Totally unbelievable that he is not remembered in some way.

Eric should be mad at Ridge for not showing up!!! What a selfish jackass!!!! He is asked to return because his mother is dying, but noooo, he won't return because he could end up meeting Brooke there! Is he 12?! I would be so mad at him if I was Eric or Thorne/Kristen/Felicia!!!!!!! The irish thing I don't care too much about. It is just a theme for a party. Strange DAYTIME party. Who host parties before 6 pm -- besides children??? Celtic woman was nice. Loved their song. And Eric singing to his wife one last time. Eric has been so terrific with Stephanie in this story. The only complaint I have regarding Eric is leaving Big Bear for that damn meeting!!!! "You're inviting THEM?!" Eric asked when Steph wrote that list. Who was he referring to? ?? I did not see any surprising guests there. Bill Spencer wasn't invited, he escorted Brooke. So WHO was Eric surprised to see on the guestlist? Their children? They should have brought in more people. Alexandria, Dino and Zende absolutely! Ashley Jones as Bridget should have visited. Is Jack Hamilton still alive? B&B could have borrowed Lauren Fenmore and Katherine Chancellor from across the hall at Y&R! Amber could have been there. Jessica Forrester and Maggie would have been nice. I know Joe Mascolo and Ian Buchanan are busy on other soaps, but maybe something could have been worked out?? Joanna Johnson would have been terrific! With Crystal Chappell too.

I have to say, after seeing today's epi.... That Thomas would call Eric away from Steph at this time is TOTALLY unbelievable!! And this just to get one more Brooke scene in!?! If Steph really dies when Brooke is there....and Eric isn't....... aaaarghghhhhhhggghh!!!!
