With all of the optimism floating around, I might get myself prepared. The more I allow myself to be about a chance for true romance up there, the higher the risk of What do you say?! I'm SO tired of getting my hopes up only to be disenchanted which as a result makes me complain Imagine STIC by the fireplace, talking about the so far unspoken with tenderness and love Cooking together, dining there, relaxing on the sofa...some candles burning and the fire cracking in the darkness, the noise of autumn rain againt the windows OKAY I get carried away. And if STIC doesn't have a lovely morning in bed-scene during what can be 2 weeks, innocent or not, I'll go and shoot the writers!

If you look closely on the piano, I think you can see an 8x10 picture of Susan as a baby.
I know I should be focused on what is positive about all of this, but I have to vent my frustration. I'm so sick of them writing shows with no continuity to the previous ones...let alone the history of the show. First she needs a few weeks to just be happy - then the next day she's telling people. She wants to go to Big Bear before anyone knows - now they all know. They're going to wear gowns and tuxes and everyone will be there - not even close.
In the last two years I've lost my stepdad and aunt to cancer - him to lung cancer.....and it wasn't anything like this.
I've been watching old clips and there was so much more depth to the old shows that didn't move at break-neck pace.
I'm thrilled beyond words that it's Eric beside her and not Brooke. I'm thrilled that they are so loving and affectionate toward one another. I'm thrilled that Susan is not phoning it in these last weeks, but is acting the hell out of the scenes and allowing her own vulnerability to show......but so many many missed opportunities here.....never to be gotten back......
I'll just pray that there are a lot of scenes that will lend themselves to stories of "what happened next" that you beautiful writers here on this board will write for us (there are a few already).

I'll just pray that there are a lot of scenes that will lend themselves to stories of "what happened next" that you beautiful writers here on this board will write for us (there are a few already). THANK YOU!!!!! Yes, yes, yes! Exactly my thoughts. I'm not alone in the complaining department phew ;D ;D Every damn time I talk about the good old days and sound like a broken record, I mean just that: depth + consistency (+glamour) =quality. And I know that I should let go and I know that I should have learned and should know better from the past B&b years but a certain level of disappointment just doesn't want to leave me ;D Let's laugh about it all (It's just a silly show. Enjoy what you get, forget about the rest. shut up! go mad and rightfully so, think of all the missed opportunities) ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D No, seriously, I have trouble letting go of my (always high) expectations and hopes but I think I'm slowly progessing...I think ;D The party and the last times the mansion set will be used was my last moment of high expectations, followed by huge disappointment for me. I think I finally closed the book with this. We've got beautiful scenes lately and that's what matters...la laal la laa laaa ..I'm in denial.. ;D ;D I'm sorry to hear about your loss. I have to watch the clip again...didn't see the baby photo

Monday Nov 5 Hope accuses Caroline of playing Thomas against Rick; Brooke tries to keep Bill distracted from his current woes by taking him sightseeing in Colorado; Rick and Eric commiserate about the direction in which Forrester Creations is heading.
Tuesday Nov 6 Katie experiences the consequences of her decision to abandon her family; Rick confronts Caroline about her intentions; Liam shares a piece of his past with Steffy.
Wednesday Nov 7 Liam questions Bill about the real reason why Katie left him; Katie requests that Taylor contact her family and let them know she's safe; Bill enlists Justin to assist in tracking down Katie.
Thursday Nov 8 Bill and Brooke see a majestic view in Colorado; Steffy and Liam test their babysitting skills on Will; Katie refuses to accept the medical diagnosis that Taylor has given her.
Friday Nov 9 Taylor uses a scare tactic in an attempt to get her point across to Katie; family members from far and wide arrive for Stephanie's life-celebration party; Brooke becomes increasingly anxious about the idea of seeing Ridge at Stephanie's party.

Sooo...we get a scene with Stephanie telling Brooke. And we get one with her telling Donna. But we don't get scenes with her telling her flesh and blood daughters? WTH?
I'm not even going to get started on the party and how unglamorous it is. Ugh.

You know, even seeing the mansion and Eric and Stephanie´s living room for last time, makes me want to after having spent so much time there over the years. And all the wonderful memories from that room. No more Stic weddings there,no more Christmas eves there,no more romantic STIC there EVER
