Seems to me that nobody knows for sure. However 2 facts let me fear the worst:
#Brad is very vague.
#KKL confirmed it...

Who knows!! Bell is vague. That KKL MAY not know the real deal isn't so surprising, no one knew Ronn Moss was leaving until 3 days before he left! Not even Bell!

Maybe Susan signed on for 3-6 months and will think things out meanwhile?

Could be that both magazines are right. Could be that Susan first thought of not signing a new contract. But after a talk with Bell/B&B, they came up with a deal where she signs short-term contracts so that she can have the option to leave every 3-6 months. Instead of signing 1-2 year contracts like the other actors do.
