hey everybody....
is anybody of you playing the game too?
I've got it this week and yesterday I created a new household - Thorne Forrester and daughter Ally...
They have a nice little cottage with a small pool directly next to the playground...and across the street from a girl's only household...and would you believe it? within 3 days - THORNE GOT LAID!!!!!! He now has a girlfriend...
If any of you is playing....share the stories here! I'm curious

I do have the full collection of Sims 2 and the first set so how does the sims 3 compare to sims 2?
I have slowed down in playing sims 2 i have been trying to build the Forrester mansion.
With the sims 2 i had gone though generation's of Forresters Marones and
Logans.
I might get the Sims 3 i do still love the sims 2 personaly its better the the frist set.

Sims 2 is a lot of fun...I still have it on my computer and will play it occasionally (partially because I created my own universe in there - Shut up, GraceBe  they had a lot more fun there (and lots more sex) than on the actual show ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D) Sims 3 is fairly addictive and has a few nifty new things - though I still think they should just open the game to having your own custom pieces - you know...include your own pictures, patterns, what not...). I' not entirely sure I like this open town thing where you can leave your lot and go somewhere else, but it sure makes meeting other Sims easier. I also like that it is much eaiser now to make a career - the 'opportunities' help...it's also nice that you can get to know other Sims and find out about their traits and such...that's nifty...and more 'real life' As for Thorne's progress - he's getting laid quite a bit...but in his job is only coffee maker person (that's due that I focussed on his girlfriend's household today). His girlfriend's name is Nella and she now owns the local theatre, but is otherwise unemployed (there's no designer-option...she could become a rock star...but I don't want her to). She and Ally aren't friends yet, but I'm working on it. I think I want Thorne to have a happy end with her ;-P --- Lets see how quickly I can move them in together ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D (and once I find out how...I'll post some screen shots ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D) |

I just might get back in the habit of the Sims 2 its the screen shots that have me stuck i can get my sims to take photo's thought.
with LA i used Belladonna cove as the lay out of the neighborhood.( house on the hill for the Forrester Mansion when i get it right).
I once tried to build FC once.
Most houses i build seem to end up as huge square three floored mansions.
And most of my Sims are so rich they don't work.

I have bought the Sims 3 a few days ago. Have fun with it...it's truly addictive...if not a little exhausting... In my game, Thorne just became a Daddy again...can't say, he doesn't work fast...the wedding was barely over and he knocked his lady up ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D And in my game he makes his way through the ranks...no FC that holds him back (that would be an improvement for Sims4 , if they ever make one...)...I have to create Felicia though now...just for fun... |
