New guideline re signatures

Hello members!

I would like to kindly put in a new guideline about signature-pictures. Some are a bit too long and take up a lot of space. Some people don´t like reading threads with short messages and many pictures following.

So we now have a new guideline that I hope everyone will respect:

Please keep your signature-pictures a maximum of 400 pixles high, and 700 pixles wide.
You can still have many different pictures, but the total sum of your pictures shouldn´t overstep 400 x 700 pixles.

If you are unsure of how big 400x700 pixles are, then you can look at my signature-pictures. Combined all together, they have the measures of 356 pixles high and 668 pixles wide.

That means that my is good yet or not?? B/c I have high of my siggie 14.5 cm and you have only 10 cm height....

Your siggies are in height 300 pixles + 65 pixles + 142 pixles = a total of 507 pixles. That is 107 pixles too high.


J&Sfan:

Your siggies are in height 240 pixles + 240 pixles = 480 pixles. 80 pixles too high.



Here´s how you check:
Right-click on one picture and choose the last option in the menu that pops up. There it will say how what format that picture is in pixles. Width x height.

If you have more than one picture, you will have to add those numbers together.

My sig should be okay. It's 600 x 300, 100 less that the set rule on both height and width.

Yes, it's too high.... I'll make smaller that second picture....

Unfortunately it´s a bit too big.

The first Stic-pic is 347 pixels high and the second is 400 pixels high -- so both those pictures are OKAY if they are put next to each other like they are.

However, the 2 glitter-names Courtmarie & Sticgirl added to a 400 pixels high picture (2nd stic-pic) adds up to over 400 pixels in height. The biggest glitterbanner (Sticgirl) is just over 100 pixels high, and added together with 2nd stic-pic, it´s a little over 500 pixels.

Could you maybe re-size the pictures a little or maybe remove glitternames?

Well, now it should be ok Courtmarie... although it's 410 pixels....

But I accidentaly deleted your first picture so I'm not so sure If I found the right picture which you had in your siggie.... when not then tell me....

Now it's ok courtmarie - you don't have to remove glitter names when you like your siggie the way as it is now with resized pictures......
