I had to write a letter to the writers. Thanks Loyalstephie for the link to the place where you can e-mail them.
This is what I wrote:
It is with great sadness that I now bid The Bold and the Beautiful good-bye. I have been informed of the happenings on tomorrow´s episode (Thursday 28/7), and I will not watch this show.
Stephanie Forrester´s character has been destroyed for all future. And since Eric and Stephanie are my alltime favorite couple on this show, the bold powercouple, you can very well imagne how angry and devastated you have made me with this storyline. I had hopes that since Susan Flannery will be leaving the show, that you could have at least ended Eric & Stephanie´s story happily. But since that will not be the case, I am now bidding the show farewell. It has been a great time all these years. It is truely sad that it had to end in a disaster for me. I hope all people hating Stephanie are thrilled to no end, so at least some people can rejoyce in this.
But as for me, this is the end.
It will be so hard saying good-bye and the show will leave a hole after it. But there is no way I can ever continue watching this happening to the only 2 character I truley care about.
And don´t think for a second that this is easy for me, because it isn´t. It is practically tearing me apart to see this happen. First the destruction of Stephanie. I don´t even know who she is anymore. And then the destruction of my soapsupercouple. It is more than I can handle. I will choose to remember the show the way I feel appropriate, with fond memories of Stephanie and Eric. I will try erase these past 2 months from my mind.
This is so hard for me to write because I feel absolutely empty. It came as a slow shock. But I need to write a good-bye to end this long run with B&B in my life.
