Who did Ridge choose? Taylor or Stephanie? Well, no matter what people say, one fact is clear: he did not choose Brooke! Even if he chose Taylor to save Stephanie´s life, he did feel Stephanie´s life was more worth than Brooke´s life. He had very little problem with crushing Brooke´s world. i agree  |

I agree, that is why I am not sure why everyone is mad at Steph in lieu of Ridge. He made the decision that everyone (well not all) are upset w/ and no matter what Steph did or might have done he is old enough to make his own decisions.

 This is what I don't understand..why is all of this "Steph's fault"? So the woman faked a heart-attack. Big whoop, what's that got to do with Ridge dumping Brooke (again)? I thought it was Ridge who decided to pull the quickie nuptuals in the hospital. I thought it was Ridge who told Eric he KNEW what he was doing. I thought it was Ridge who made the speech to Taylor about how she was always his love and he wanted her to be his wife again (rather touching at that  ). And I would have sworn it was Ridge who took Taylor home and made love to her before he remembered "oops, maybe I should call Brooke and let her know". Guess I missed the part where he got married by proxy (but damned if the "stand in" didn't look like him to me!). Without his knowledge. Without his decision. Good ole Steph, only she could have pulled that off, huh? Truth is, I don't remember Ridge ever chosing Brooke for more than a moment when he had another option. She's his all-time fall-back girl when nothing better is going on. So why is all this Steph's fault again?

LOL ;D A Fan!!! That was exactly my point. Stephanie never once mentioned the word "wedding" when she pleaded with Ridge not to choose Brooke. She only wanted Ridge to choose Taylor, not to marry her right then and there. The wedding part was all Ridge´s idea. The make-love-to-me-wife idea was also all Ridge´s idea. Steph didn´t say "marry Taylor and then sleep with her, Ridge. Cause otherwise I will die on you". Agree with you Maddy |

Ridge has always play ping pong with these two women, he is the one that made the desicion to marry Taylor even after Eric pleaded with him in the hallway and ran to call Brooke, so Ridge made up his own mind to remarry Taylor in the hospital room, Steph didn't make that desicion, she just wanted him to say he would choose Taylor, if he REALLY didn't want to he could of told her ok mother and left her rrom and went home to Brooke but noooo

LOL Yuppers, exactly right Maddy! Remember the time Eric was interested in Taylor? Sometimes I think the reason Eric champions Brooke's causes all the time is because Brooke has never refused him [yeah Eric, Brooke's been so good to you] and Eric's still sore over being rejected by Taylor...has Eric been rejected by any other woman except for Taylor? I can't remember.
