sounds like they're going to milk this triangle. I'm sick of it already, why can't they make a triangle up where mom and daughter are not involved?

WELL BROOKE DID TELL DANTE WHEN SHE FIRST MET HIM THAT ANY FRIEND OF BRIDGETTE'S IS A FRIEND OF HERS SO SHE HAS MADE IT CLEAR ENOUGH FROM THE GO!

;D Well said RC...Boo ho stated her intentions at the very beginning when it comes to Dante. Poor ASJ though, why couldn't he be the ONE man who didn't fall prey to Boo ho's routine?

I still am hoping he doesn't, I thought he was smarter than that but all men seem to have this attraction to her for some reason?!?

Well, it's not for the intellectual stimulation and discourse, nor because she'll be named Humanitarian of the Year.

;D I know, remember before Brackie uncovered Steph's faked heart-attack...Boo Ho had this stand off with Steph and the ONLY word she could find to use to describe Steph was 'mean'? She probably used that word 10 times that day. Someone buy Boo Ho a thesaurus!
|
|
|
Post by GoStephanie on Aug 26, 2005 2:01:13 GMT
Excellent, niala! Boo ho apparently thinks "mean" is a four letter word. But can she spell thesaurus? Remember when Stephanie suggested to Boo ho that she aim the gun at her head because Boo ho might not be able to find her heart? That was good one. Maybe that's why Boo ho cries so much, she can't think fast or good enough for a retort so she just resorts to tears. Seems to be her favorite form of expression.

Post by niala on Aug 26, 2005 17:12:10 GMT
;D I don't think Boo Ho can even spell her own name, the only word she can spell is FORRESTER and that's because she's been studying it for decades! Yeah, Steph really does have the best lines , I can honestly say for the many years I have been watching B&B, Boo Ho has never even come close to besting Steph in an argument. All Boo Ho can do is stand there and say the same things, "Ridge loves me." "Eric thinks you're mean." and my personal favourite: "I've changed." I agree, Boo Ho doesn't have the mental capacity to think of any other form of action than tears. If she had a brain maybe all the men in this show wouldn't feel so sorry for her all the time.

If Boo ho only had a brain and a heart...she should be off to see the Wizard! And she'll end up wanting to sleep with him too.

;D I agree, Boo Ho can't let any man go unslept with...which makes me wonder, how is it she hasn't done her son Rick as yet...I'm sure the thought has crossed her mind! It's like she's test driving them.
|
|
|
Post by GoStephanie on Aug 27, 2005 15:43:34 GMT
As for Rick, that has crossed my mind too, perhaps he's not seasoned enough yet or she's waiting for the nutty writers to somehow write the script that he's not her son after all!
As for test driving (nice choice of words, niala), the men all need their 10,000 mile check up. Besides, she's always looking for a newer model and a smoother ride. Looks like a sexy foreign one may interest her--Dante.

Boo ho seems to think that when she utters the "I've changed" mantra, all should be forgotten and forgiven. As if she should be applauded. And visualize her expressions as utters the meaningless words. "I've changed" to what? From the black negligee to the red thong? Or changed from Ho of our Cozy Little City to Ho of the Universe?

Post by niala on Aug 27, 2005 16:25:53 GMT
;D I don't think Boo Ho has tried one from Italy as yet...you know Boo Ho, always trying to add to her, "men currently residing in L.A. collection."
|
|
|
Post by niala on Aug 27, 2005 20:05:54 GMT
;D But you're right GoStephanie, every time Boo Ho says 'I've changed' it's like she expects a freaking medal! Well done Boo Ho, well done! Here's a Scooby Snack. The only think Boo Ho ever changes are: 1) her lingerie (thanks GoStephanie) and 2) her choice of men. Boo Ho can't change...that would imply that she learned something from her past mistakes...which as we all know will never happen. In Boo Ho's mind, she hasn't made any mistakes.
Sleeping with Deacon for instance, oh, that wasn't a mistake, the only mistake was letting Bridget find out about it! Boo Ho doesn't think of anyone but herself, and she has the nerve to believe she hasn't ever hurt Bridget. If I had a dollar for every time Boo Ho hurt someone, I'd be a millionaire!

Post by GoStephanie on Aug 27, 2005 21:44:34 GMT
Exactly, she seems to think that the words "I've changed," not only absolves her, but that it magically made the "problem/mistake/transgression/sin" disappear as if it never happened. But change doesn't always mean change for the better. If she changes two degrees toward decent behavior, then changes again but this time backwards like 60 degrees toward bad behavior, then that's change too. And yes, niala, you'd be a multi-millionaire.

I agree GoStephanie, you know, it seems to me Boo Ho has changed...but for the worse. Her sins become more and more unforgiveable each year. Bell needs to stop worshipping Boo Ho as a siren and Goddess of Love and just make it more digestible...Boo Ho is a selfish tramp from the valley who won't stop 'till she's had enough of every man in L.A.

Boo ho's continued selfishness is breathtaking. The spoiler for Monday indicates that she tells Icky that they can't hurt Bridget (any more?) so Boo ho wants him to go back to Bridget and make a life with her and the unborn baby. Icky does not seem too keen on the idea.
Iif Bell and writers thinks this "sacrifice" by Boo ho is somehow a noble thing or an action that should redeem her, then they will have failed. This Bridget, Boo ho, and Icky story line is going to be stretched for the foreseeable future, meaning we will be further tortured with more crying, angst and longing looks of love. And as we all expected, this also means that Boo ho will be on the prowl again sooner than later.
Remember when she first heard about Bridget's baby and she asked Catherine to get together RJ's old clothes as if that was a motherly thing to do. Hey, I think the Ho-CEO can afford some new clothes for your new grandkid and what about wanting to share the experience of shopping with Bridget for things for the baby (if she'll let her)? That was a little weird, about putting aside the old clothes. Moreoever, that was pretty cheap, just like Boo ho.

Excellent post GoStephanie! If Boo Ho was a good mother and decent person, she'd kick Icky to the curb...just tell him right out that it's wrong for him to be in love with her. If Icky can't forget all about her and focus on Bridget and make her happy then get your ass another port to dock your boat in! (I think Icky likes docking his boat in the handicapped slips, but that's another topic really.)
Boo Ho's 'sacrifice' isn't sitting well with me, or anyone else but the Brookies. The whole storyline is disgusting and should be scrapped A.S.A.P. If I were a preacher, I'd have ammo for my arsenal. What message is this show sending to teenaged viewers? Sleep with everyone in sight, work your way through the family tree and you'll find fame and fortune?
;D Boo Ho's giving Bridget RJ's old hand-me-downs...oh how symbolic indeed. She's doing the same thing with Icky. Apparently Bridget doesn't deserve anything that's show-room new. They're rich enough to buy every department store in L.A. and Bridget can't afford baby clothes? What is wrong with this picture?

Great points, niala, as always! My teenage daughter watches the show with me once in while when I'm on vacation, and she said, "What a Ho!" about Boo ho. But I'm sure other teenagers may be influenced by the lack of values in the story lines.
Yes, the cast-off clothes are symbolic indeed of giving her cast-off Icky to Bridget. Cast-off, I think we're really in the nautifcal analogies now. Like the "another port to dock" example.
And where is AJ these days? Does Mother of the Year remember she has two young children?

Thanks GoStephanie. I watched B&B as a teenager and I never thought what Boo Ho was doing was glamourous or admirable. Actually, I don't personally know any Brookies, all my teenaged friends think Boo Ho is a slut and needs to be exiled somewhere. ;D Too many nautical analogies? Nick needs to take his 'Shady Marlin' elsewhere...I can't believe Bridget still wants him back. Do not pass Go, do not collect $200, Budge. You made one good decision, to dump Nick and now you want him back? Sheesh, like mother, like daughter. I would like to see a slugfest between Boo Hoo and Boo Ho. Boo Ho needs to have her face re-arranged. Good question, where are Hope and RJ these days? Oh no, she must have locked them upstairs so they won't interrupt her make out sessions with Icky.

There never be too many nautical analogies! What happened to Boo hoo after giving such a great verbal lashing to both Boo ho and Icky from just a week ago? If Taylor gives Fridge yet another chance, and Boo hoo wants to take Icky back, actually almost begging him, I think the writers may all be men. What a fantasy, that women will continue to be trod upon and still take whatever the men dish out again and again.

Boo Hoo woke up one day and decided she NEEDED a man, I guess (like mother, like daughter). I agree with you GoStephanie, I wonder if anyone knows how many of the writers are male and how many are female. If the majority were women, they wouldn't let the females in the show be walked over like this.
At least Taylor has some backbone...when the writers choose to give her one. Can't say the same of Boo Ho and Boo Hoo.

Agree that Taylor has some backbone, and if she is to retain it and her self respect, she has to send Fridge packing...now! Fridge's time-table is non-existent about making a decision. Fridge is the Hamlet of the Soaps: To leave (Taylor) or not to leave, that is the question.
The actors and actresses should demand more $ to act out some of the illogical scripts. My patience with the writers is at an end. Do they actually paid them to write this drivel?
